'Yesterday Kavya bought a pair of jeans which look stunning on her'

will it be look or looks??

When the expression pair of is used as the subject of the verb, the verb must agree with the word pair.

'Yesterday Kavya bought a pair of jeans which looks stunning on her'

will it be look or looks??

e.g. Jeans are fashionable.
A pair of jeans is expensive.

1. Her jeans __are____ white.
2. Only one pair of jeans ___is___ clean.
3. Three pairs of jeans __are____ being washed.

There are few things which I want to clarify "wanting" is used as gerund in this case and the option B has verb to start with and "wanting" which again becomes a noun, the parallelism is missing in this.

As for E "tiring" and "wanting" both are used as gerunds and they look better than the remaining.

May be I'm not very comfortable with E either but atleast I can rule out B,C,D. As for A I'm still uncertain. Please see if this explanation helps.

@dreamz007 A more better

To make sense as per SC rules, here in this question structure 'tired" is used as a participle and "wanted" is used as a verb. So to correct the parallelism in second clause "wanting" is used as a participle. Hope it gets some clarity.

A as better is already the comparative form so more is redundant

ya but good better best we say

but answer is given as : MUCH BETTER :-/ no idea !!
@dreamz007
sentence has problem in b
it should either be "much" or be "much more".....

much nd more cant happen at a tym !!! its redundant

OA is B.
A – The idea is not to make ‗tired' parallel with ‗wanted' because ‗tired' is being used as a participle whereas ‗wanted is being used as a verb and we can't make a participle parallel with a verb. The correct alternative should be the participle "wanting"
C – ‗Tired' is not parallel with the phrase ‗because they wanted'
D – By virtue of its construction, the sentence has to be in the past tense hence the use of ‗will' is incorrect
E - tiring and wanting is not matched as explained in A.
