it will be 'looks' as the phrase following it is singular....

According to parallelism....only looked will be correct contextual usage...

Look waise to a pair of jeans is plural...but here the first clause of the sentence "yesterday Kavya bought a pair of jeans" is in simple past tense so wat follows should also be in simple past tense thats the parellelism Rule...
@nitk2iima2 hmmmm, waise a pair of jeans singular verb lega: a pair of jeans is in the bag/ jeans are in the bag.... but jahan tak tense ka baat hai.... kavya jeans kal kharid k aaj bhi to pahan sakti hai, aur aaj hi stunning bhi dikh sakti hai???
@ranjitgrv ...AFAIK... pair of trousers should take plural verb...and if ur logic for changing the sentence structure from kal to aaj and aaj to parso stands true then god help GRAMMAR... :D

Bhai are you sure because "A pair of jeans= singular" and "pair of jeans=Plural"
