Hey I am also applying to the Bocconi full time MBA.
I have a problem. The reference forms downloaded from the website cannot be saved with any data. My referees cannot type anything into it and then save it for emailing. Did u have this problem.Any solutions?

I have been offered an admit to SDA Bocconi, Sep 2011 intake. However I am a bit skeptical about the job scene out there in Italy. Anyone from the IT Stream who has been offered an admit to SDA? If yes could you please share your profile and let us know which specialization you are going to choose during the program.

You can just add the questions in a word doc and ask your referees to fill in the answers in it. They can send the word doc along with the template that they provided. thats what i did.

I am planning to apply to SDA, but seeing that only 2 ppl have actually accepted the offer has made me a bit apprehensive.
Is it a good option??
I plan to work in consulting after my MBA and that too in india.

Am an Indian IT male and looking to apply for SDA.. wats the job scenario post MBA.

The job scenario is pretty poor in the EU at the moment.

Visa regulations are stiff for non EU people and you get work permit only if you bring something new to to table.This is because the company will hire you only if you have specialist skills which people within EU/EEA dont have.The company also has to prove to the authorities that they couldnt find a suitable EU candidate which is why they went for a non EU guy through sufficient advertising of that Job.

European companies look for experienced candidates and who have knowledge of English + some other useful European language(or the native language which is Italian in this case)
So if you got less work ex and can boast only your english then start making your plans of coming back to India

I am not threatening or discouraging or even applying to Bocconi.I have friends in Holland and Germany who told me this.Plus the guy who worked in germany also worked in USA and Switzerland for a total of 5 yrs.Plus i did my own research on this work permit thing

I have accepted in SDA for the coming October class. I have 4 years of experience in Deloitte as a Siebel CRM consultant. I had a 650 on the GMAT with quite a few extra curriculars in college. What do you think about how many of you have accepted SDA?
