Puys.. This is a letter written by me to Mr. Nitish Kumar.
How many of you agree with this? I have sent this and waiting their reply.
Respected Nitish Sir,
I am a resident of .........., Bihar and I felt it was important to voice my suggestions for the development of Bihar.
I see most of the Parliamentarians or Union leaders looking after their states to secure their vote bank. Like:
(1) Mr. Modi, behaving like CM of Gujarat, only taking Foreign Investments there.
(2) Mr. Gadkari and others, taking investments in Maharashtra.. etc.
But no one looks after poorer states like UP, Bihar, Orissa, Bengal. They come only during elections and ask for votes in the name of castes but not development.
Even ministers in Union cabinet from Bihar, shame their own bihari people by saying that biharis should not come to AIIMS for treatment.
Unless you, being CM of Bihar, does not develop it...they will always be treated like filth everywhere. Unemployment has been main concern due to which outflux occurs and they are treated badly because of that in South India, Mumbai, everywhere. Bihari Labourers looking for jobs in different cities, states, even countries are made to work for the lowest paying jobs. Everyone treats us a piece of shit.
I have some suggestions regarding employment generation and i think, you will look upon this.
(1) Tourism: There are several tourist places in Bihar. At least one in every district, should be made focus. 38 tourist destinations. Glorify them and advertise about them extensively. Before that, make that chosen ones clean, pollution free, easy transportation access from nearest railway station or airport, decent basic facilities. It will generate employment in huge numbers. Will give rise to tourist guides, travel agents, taxi services, hotels and infrastructure development, shops and many more employment opportunities.
(2) Food Processing Industries: In every district, mafia or middle men rob farmers of their money by forcing them to sell food items in low prices. This affects the farmers income and are debt burdened. Every district should have 1 food processing industry. E-commerce in food products should be encouraged, so that farmers can sell their products directly to customers.
(3) Electricity: Though, electric lines have reached almost all villages but not all villages get electricity. Even cities get 10-12hrs of electricity which hampers businesses, way of life.
(4) Healthcare: We have 'sadar hospitals' in every districts but do we provide all treatment there? No.. doctors are less in number and also not willing to treat them as they ask patients to come to their private clinics. Biharis have lowest per capita income. Basics services needs to be provided in minimum affordable cost. Strengthen some of the district hospitals like PMCH, More PMCH type hospitals in Bihar, more relief to the lower classes. Unless medical colleges and hospitals run together, we will not be able to provide good doctors and also good services. Medical exams should be strictly conducted.
(5). Education: Though, lot of work has been done on primary and secondary schools, there is very little or no advancement in higher education. Students flock to different states and get admission in mediocre colleges just to get degrees. Why can't we open 1 college in every district? It will dramatically change the situation of Bihar and some skillful jobs will be created.
Also, overhaul the current syllabus and change it. Introduce topics related to science and technology to bring interest in children from early ages. They will make Bihar in Future.
(a) Success stories of scientists, inventors, entrepreneurs etc. be included in curriculum.
(b) History of development of computers, internet, print media, electronic media, space science should be taught.
(c) Economic activities, its everyday affect, pros and cons of an activity we do etc. should be imbedded in the minds of children.
(d) Maths should test more on real life events like profit and loss, share prices, probability, statistics, numbers, arithmetic, algebra, trigonometry, geometry etc.
(e) Teach about machines, what are their functions, their modifications till date.
(f) Moral science and work ethics should be taught.
(g) Every class from 1st to 12th and even to colleges: There should be 5 vocational trainings of 10-15 days during their vacations. Every students will have to choose one vocational course out of 5. As per class also, courses will be different. That means: from 1st to 12th: total- 12*5=60 vocational courses and every students will be trained in at least 12 courses. This will increase employability and impart skill also.
There are many more things like strengthening the education ministry and keeping an educated, compatible, reformist attitude minister.
I hope, some action will be taken by you, our CM, Mr. Nitish Kumar ji. Unless govt. do not feel about citizens, it will never develop.
I would love to work with Bihar Govt. if approached and help it with my insights.
