IBPS RRB CWE-III 2014 Preparation & Discussion

any tips for preparing descriptive section?

Puys, were there questions from permutation n  combination and probability?

somebody pls clarify this to me... I am confused and worried... I have my SBI PO exam on the 27th June but that date is not the date as notified by SBI to hold the examination. How come then I got that date? Is it possible that it is a mistake?

My total attempts 139...hoping to get anything between 100--110...

DI--attempted only 12....sure about 10...

last year cutoff for DI was 14....so hoping to clear cutoff of DI.... but may miss the overall cutoff

Overall cutoff ---in my opinion it will be around 105--110...and final total around 135-140.....

My analysis----one should not attempt more than 15 in DI....because its time taking and cost benefit analysis...

There is always one easy set in DI...one should select that one first because its easily recognised....an average guy can do that in  7-8 minutes....and then next in 25-30 minutes one can choose the sets according to his strength which requires fast calculations...in this way one can attempt 12-15 in 30-35 minutes depending upon his ability...

Now move on to the reasoning section.....one out of 4 puzzles is very easy....can be easily solved in 5-7 minutes ...so 6-7 question in 6-7 minutes...one of the puzzle which has 2 questions is also easy so 2 question in 2-3 minutes....move on to next puzzle....this one will be time taking ....invest 2-3 minutes...if solvable then go for the kill....if not move on....I wasted here 5-7 minutes and here I think lost the game....then move on to the syllogism very easy....maximum 5 minutes....then inequalities very easy...and then arguments also moderate one....if time left go for the last puzzle...otherwise move on to the next section.....here one can attempt 35-40 in 40 minutes...

GA----current affairs ----very easy.....the problem here is ...banking and management....if one can score good in banking and management than its not hard to score above 35...and one can reach to 40 also...this section requires at max 15 minutes....

English section---moderate----if one has regular reading habit one can target 45-50 questions in 25 minutes with an accuracy of more than 35 questions....

Descriptive-----Dont get exhausted after 2 hours becoz this section can exhaust you by not letting you qualify the overall cutoff...maintain the speed from the first word...bcoz one will always has to drag in the last moment....All the best for your exams...

P.S.----I have given many exams .....and somehow have predicted the cutoffs right almost every time....may be because I am an average guy...understand the game of borderline well required for prediction....

Question: Should the fees of all the private professional colleges be made equal to those of the government professional colleges?Arguments:
I.          No, the private colleges need additional funds to maintain quality of education.II.         Yes, otherwise a large number of meritorious students will not be able to study in these colleges for exorbitantly high fees.
