The calender only talked about change in global conditions not end of the world. It speaks about transformation. "Dooms Day" as people perceive has nothing to do with the calender. A calender is a poor authority to depict DD. In fact DD always occurs in phases. 2012 was indeed one of those phases. If you had carefully followed newspaper - what happened nationally and internationally on daily basis in 2012, you would have noticed year 2012 as an important phase assigned.
