@hi_guys ....bhai which RRB ??? i guess Chandigarh.....BTW wat's ur Branch.........??? really yaar it's dilemma 4 choosing rght...either SAIL or RRB......family wants Railway n we want Core Work like in Sail......but i bet b4 joining RRB ur SAIL joining will b over......RRB is too lenghty......so jst find ur OWN interest n GO FOR IT.......BEST OF LUCK
@tiredengineer ......congrats 4 AAI.......i had given too but not selected.......there is bond money of 3 lacs...i guess u dont know...u will posted (probable) mumbai/chennai 1st for 2years.....but according 2 my seniors working in dat...said ..profile of Electrical is somewhat "Maintenance " best in industry ....which is very flexible for Switching in any sector/company.......location wise ...u can get Delhi....but wat do u like...??? "BOILER"....i guess no....if i were selected in both....then i will choose SAIL....bcoz of it's township n job profile of "boiler operation (normally Mech. people do it)"....BOE certificate...n so on......

The paper is easy compared to when IIT Delhi makes. They have some more numericals compared to IISc Bangalore. I got it confirmed from IIT students. So, enjoy!

for mech q just u go through d basic which u studied in 1st year...
KHURMI will b a gud book..for basic mechanical..

and try to attempt as many q as u can...as i did..

but if will ask den i ll suggest 2 go wid BHEL..as it has bcm a maharatna..

so salary will b revised..

There are certain exceptions dude! SAIL does belong to a different category. - constant maharatna category. So, no change.
