a few guys who r already in s p jain and those few who have a call please shed some light cos i am stumped and disillusioned here.:banghead:

all calls to spjimr as based on your profile too. while the first list is based solely on profile and requires you to get only an 85% + in cat/xat there after, the second list, (also called score based list) is actually evaluated based on a combination of score AS WELL AS profile.

so ultimately, you will see situations where people with 95-96 percentile range getting calls because they have a decent profile, while people with 99+ might not be able to pull a call.
and from my experience, when they say profile, its more than just your school/graduation marks.

Please guys appreciate one thing. SPJAIN is one institute that has the best admmission process according to me. ITs not a one yr CAT/XAT preparn they see. They see everything. And guys ma friend having 90plus in all acads didnt get a call. If u go thro the profile of students who got profile based calls you will appreciate that. Many people have got international awards as well. Thats sth has to be taken and given weightage than the mere CAT/XAT percentile. Unlike other MBA colleges, SPJAIN has the best admission process.So dont groan if you didnt get a call. getting 100%ile with no experience or commendable profile is not better than a guy who get 85 percentile with good experience and profile.
That is the reason SP jain has the best reputation on par wid IIMS as far teh corporate world is concerned.

Hi Seniors ,

This is regarding the marks of class 10 and 12 of ICSE students. Till now I have been filling up the percentage I get from all subjects. But I hear that a lot of people fill up their best 4 and best 5 percentages for 10th and 12th respectively.

At this point when we have to re-fill our marks in SP Jain , what should I do now ? Would filling up the best 4 and best 5 increase my chances ? Is that an acceptable practice ?

can someone or seniors (already in SP Jain) give some live examples of the Profiles (including their achievements ) who could get into SP Jain or atleast got Profile Based calls...just to get an idea...what exactly they look for ..
