Greetings from SPJIMR PGPM Admission Committee 2013!

We truly appreciate your decision to take a break from your career and plunge into the dynamic field of management studies.

SPJIMR Post Graduate Programme in Management (PGPM) is full-time, residential MBA programme. The programme aims to create and nurture value-based thinking in future leaders and equip them with the skills required for roles in higher management in transforming organizations.

SPJIMR perceived the need of the industry for thought leaders in middle and seniors management and successfully endeavoured to create the PGPM course. The programme which is in its ninth year has challenged the paradigm of conventional executive education in management with its emphasis on practical learning and value based education. The course provides a strong foundation in general management and allows the participants to specialize in the areas of Finance, Information Management, Marketing and Operations. The participants can further customize the course to suit his/her individual needs by choosing from a wide range of electives available either outside or within his/her area of specialization.

The customized approach enables the career development of the participants through-
A) Contextually specific role and domain focus
B) Functionally integrated teaching-learning process

Does the rolling process mean that if all 120 candidates are selected by, lets say, June 30th, the person applying on the last day is doing so in vain? or the final list would only be out after all applications are interviewed?

Is salary one of the important criteria for selection? In what way?

Hello harveenj

Through the rolling process, only a few outstanding applicants from each interview batch are given spot offers by SPJIMR. Remaining candidates are considered for final admission offer after the completion of entire rolling interview process. Thus, all applicants, who apply till August 31, 2013, will have equal chances of being selected, depending on their overall performance and merit.
It is an 11-month full-time residential programme offered by SPJIMR for executives with a minimum 5 years of work experience. Besides salary, there are several other factors which are taken into consideration.

Best of luck Abhishek.....
@pgpm.adcom Hi Team, My doubt may sound silly but what if I give exam on 30th Aug...can I still apply for this course ??? I have heard that GMAC mails the official score card only a few days after the exam and not the minute you finish the test?

When you finish the GMAT test, you will get a report from the test center on the same day. Your GMAT score will be mentioned in the report along with some other information. So, you can at least send that report to admission committee on the same day. It should be okay if official GMAT score reaches to AdCom after few days.

PGPM Adcom 2014

@pgpm.adcom Thanks for the info...I got to know that we can submit the application even without appearing for GMAT... so how many days after my interview is over, should i appear for GMAT so that i dont miss the chance to join the 2014-2014 batch?

@pgpm.adcom

I was told in the webinar that IR (new section in GMAT)scores will not be considered for the coming cycle. But the Admissions portal asks for IR score.

Please let me know if you are considering IR scores.
Thanks a lot for this initiative on PG platform.

@pgpm.adcom Can you please let me know average GMAT score of the last batch?

Thank you.

Here are some responses to your queries.

1. IR will be considered in PGPM.
2. Average GMAT score of the last batch was 670.
3. Min GMAT score is 650. But if you have impressive profile (i.e. role, experience, onsite exposure etc), please go ahead and apply. There were few stray cases which were considered last year.
4. GMAT score should reach to SPJIMR by 30th September from GMAC. So, please appear in GMAT by 15th Sep because GMAC takes 15 days to send the score to the college.

AdCom Committee, PGPM912
