Hey avi,

I applied on the 1st of Nov too,but haven't heard anything from them..when did you apply?Before the deadline for Oct or the new deadline for Nov?

Hi Daisy ,

I had applied in da last week of Oct and got the reply on 2nd Nov .It takes almost a week for them to revert I feel u wll get a revert by this friday or atmost monday .

Same thing happened to me too, I actually applied in the first week of October and still got a deferred interview call for 2011!

Okay,so I interviewed with RSM yesterday..and it was a great experience.The interviewer was very pleasant,and easy to speak with.The questions? Standard really,why RSM,what would you do if you did not get through RSM,what would you bring to RSM,why should we accept you,what is it that we don't know about you etc.
This interview was for jan 2010 intake btw,and he did mention that RSM has a good tie up with ING for the loan programme.
Will keep everyone updated on the result!

Same with me, got mail that they will conduct f2f interview in December for 2011 intake.
BTW, I had applied in the last week of dec and received acknowledgment email on 2nd Nov.

Hi guys, im a Noob around here.
have been a regular around the Indian MBA threads, but i guess this is my first time around here.

I went through the Prospective Students - RSM link, and didnt find much information.
I am a fresher with almost no work experience. I want to apply to the MSc program. Can anyone educate me on how to go about it.
1. Do i have to appear for the GMAT/ TOEFL for the MSc also??
2. And how about the approximate fee structure??
3. Is the program completely conducted in English??
4. Can i still apply to the 2010 batch??

Did anyone get a date for the interview, the last I heard from Adcom was that they will get in touch with me December to finalize an interview date for January. I haven't heard from anyone yet.

I've been a passive watcher of PG forums for the past couple of years. Here is something useful I have to post:

I've just had an interview with Ms. Maryke for the Jan2011 intake. Had initially applied for the Jan2010 intake but was shifted to the 2011 intake. The interview was quite nice. Following questions were asked:
1) Why RSM?
2) You are looking at a very niche career. If I was a recruiter from your target company, why should I recruit you instead of somebody who has specialised in that area with 4-5 yrs work ex?
3) Who has inspired you the most?
4) What do you expect from the MBA?
5) Name 3 places you'd like to visit?
6) Name 3 favorite places you've visited?
7) Of all places you've lived in, which is your favorite?
Though you have a different career profile, what is most different about you that can influence me as your classmate?
9) What would make you happy?
10) If you had a day off, what would you do?
11) What do you hope to learn from the PLD programme?
12) What has been your biggest achievement till date?
13) Are you deeply religious?
14) What has been the difference in work culture that you've experienced abroad and in India?
15) If I was an MBA candidate and you were interviewing me, what'd you ask?
16) By spending a majority of your time outside the country, how are you contributing back to your country?

Results are probably gonna b out by Feb 1st week. All the best to other people who are interviewing.
