it seems every1 who got red set z getting a score above 95.... dt shows d level of competition... if all d seats will b filled on merit... 95 z gd score... but unfortunately dt z not d case...looking at d brighter sight....dere r sufficient no. of seats....what we want z just one seat.... we have done what we could...now d time z to think abt other exam......best of luck guys.. . there are some questions in red set (chandigarh rrb) for SE for which answers are not given correct in the Bangalore key...... like...
1. working princpl of transfrmr based on....ans should be faraday law of emi but it is given self and mutual inductance...
2. 20paise and 25 paise coin question in which number of 25 paise coins to be calc.... ans is given 144 but it should be 124....
3. Inverter gate questn... ans should be none of these as NOT gate was not in the option... but is given NOR.....

1. How is normalization done in any standard exam (applicable to RRBs also..) ??
Raw Score : The initial stage of the calculation of the scores is by calculating the raw score. Raw score means the marks obtained in each section which is calculated by counting the correctly answered marks after applying penalty for wrong answers (1/3 marks). For example if a candidate attended 140 questions, out of which 30 are wrong, then the raw score will be 140-30-30*(1/3) = 110-10=100.
Normalized Score : The normalized score is calculated by considering the difficulty level of each set. Since the questions are different in different sets, the difficulty level of a particular set is different from other sets. For example, for a particular set (say GREEN), the average score obtained by the candidates is less than comparing to the average scores in other sets (RED/YELLOW). Then RRB will calculate an equated score which will cancel the affect of the difficulty level. There is a formula for that,in which many factors are considered like standard deviation, average marks scored, no. of students appeared, etc.
2. Can we predict the cut-offs?
NO..there is no use asking about chances or predicting cut-offs. But there is a standard that you must score > 60%. However, it may increase or decrease depending upon the circumstances. The only thing you can do is file an RTI to get the idea about last years' trends.
3. My friend said that he/she scoring above 100,120+. How is it possible?
People say many things. But most of the times, such stats end up being fake. So, trust only logical and plausible statements. Scoring 100+ or 120+ is possible, but only by sheer hard-work or extreme luck!
4. What should I do now?
Prepare for the next exam. Post any exam-related RTIs OR share typical questions from the paper OR details of any other exams to be conducted.
