Last time 2012 March me notice aya tha aur exam September me hua tha......6 months gap!
Isbar 2014 September me notice aya aur December me exam hua hai.....only 3 months gap!!
Last time questions were max branch specific & other branch questions were very basic.............this time questions were from Khichdi branch! 😛
Only 2 hours time & dat too is not fully utilised due to OMR filling,thumb stamp,sign etc.
1/3 negative marking!!
Inspite of all these how come candidates are scoring such high marks as claimed by them & why do we expect cutoff to go high?!
Obviosuly less seats will make cutoff to go high for few RRBs & posts but still............... yeh Baat kuch hajam nahi hui! 😛
Now u can guys explain with your logic or I will consider all the brightest brains(foren se bhi a gye the job chodke!) have only given this exam! 😉

Hi PGguys today I surfed some info on internet after I saw a post in this PG rrb discussions
The post was regarding the future job prospects and other stuff like kind of job, role of job, promotions etc. very good work done and posted. To add to that information-
***Disclaimer- I do not guarantee for the information as 100% correct and reliable.***
this info is collected from different websites and other sources.
*Indian railways has different groups of officers/posts-
GROUP A- IES cadre equivalent to IAS cadre (direct recruitment by UPSC all India level examination ESE/IES exam)
GROUP B- Not open for direct recruitment only available for departmental candidates on seniority and promotions basis
GROUP C- Technical (civil, mech, electrical and other engineering branches) {recruitment handled by respective RRB's by zonal wise examination}
GROUP D- non technical cadre like clerks, tc's etc (recruitment handled by respective RRB's by zonal wise examination)
Coming to roles of jobs and promotions
1) GROUP A -engineer is posted as AE/AEE assistant /executive engineer in pay band mentioned as
Junior Scale - A newly recruited officer will likely begin with this pay scale Pay Band Rs 15,600 - Rs 39,100 Grade Pay Rs 5400 they are working as assistant/ executive engineers and raise to the level of ADE/SDE additional/senior divisional engineer and even become chief engineer/ divisional engineer. As per info available for an IRES engineer training period is 1.5 years and probationary period is 1.5 years that is total 3 years to be absorbed into actual service and a bond to pay all the expenses incurred to the railways for training and returning all the emoluments received including salary and any travel concessions availed during the tenure of staying in case the candidates wishes to resign from the job. But this bond is not needed to be executed if the candidate is selected for IAS or IFS services only.
2) GROUP B- Group C employees in Pay Band PB2(9300-34800) with GP 4200 and above with 5 years in the grade including services in the corresponding pre-revised grades) are eligible to write the exam for Group B which is a (LDCE) Limited departmental competitive exam in this maximum post is SDE.
3) GROUP C- Sr. section engineer and junior engineer in respective branches of technical cadre. To go to next level of promotion minimum 5 years of experience and have to pass in departmental examinations or if not, have to wait for in seniority basis which will take place around 7-10 years depending on your luck.
For a JE to be promoted to Sr.Section engineer depends on qualification and experience i.e. seniority as we know in government jobs. If a person is selected as JE and he has a degree in respective technical branch he is eligible to write same departmental exam as a Section engineer and if he passes and has required qualification which is the case as degree (je min qualification is diploma) he will get the direct promotion to group b depending on seniority and availability of posts.
Don't know any information regarding any bond to be executed before joining for JE or Sr section engineer.

only two girls were there out of 200 😁 it seems railway ki job bhut boring hogi...
