Kindly share some real info regarding CA work & job responsiblities. Do CAs has to work in shifts? or CAs will work only in Office hours that too 5 days a week? somebody clarify...

Recently I spoke with a serving CA. He said that, for their batch, it took 6 months from result declaration to Final Joining. And as we know all that training is 2 years. And during the 2 years, only basic pay + DA will be provided(29200 + 1460 = 30660 only). No HRA, No quarters ect. We have to make our own arrangement. We will be posted in Parcel office/Goods office/booking office etc. Training will be at respective Zonal Railway Training Institute.

During the 2 years training period, we will be kept in 29200 pay scale. and after 2 years, i.e. at the time of absorbtion, we will be upgraded to 35400 pay scale.
