In the age of growing industrialization and urbanization, the forests of old are all but nonexistent. While many are working hard to bring back the lush green meadows and tall, dense forests, the need for more space overtakes their humanity.

Shubhendu Sharma, an INK Fellow, talks of how he is applying his knowledge in technology with the method of growing forests which he learned from Akira Mayaki. Shubhendu has not just used this method out in the open fields, he has made it an affordable commodity for residences. Now, when houses choose to furnish their backyard with a forest which has an eco-system of it's own, won't this world be a much greener place to live in?

Keeping in accordance with the advent of technology, Shubhendu even developed an app that can be used on-the-go to know where these forests exist, who made them, where your nearest forest dealer is, how to map your forest growth, and a lot more interesting stuff!

This is the spirit with which one becomes an INK Fellow.
