I will be applying in Round 2 and am currently working on my essays.

Could you please let me know if Ivey requires the transcripts to be directly sent by the undergrad institution, or will a scanned official copy suffice for the application stage?

I have applied in round 1. Had my interview on 19th of July 2012. Yet to hear anything from Ivey post my interview. Has anyone received an admit in round 1 yet?

Computer Sc and Engg (non IIT) (74%)

MBA From K.J Somaiya Mumbai (First Class)

Leading the Onshore Energy Practice for Marsh Mc Lennan India as a Risk and Insurance Advisor

Have also done a 1 year stint with iGATE Corporation as Bid Manager and Insurance Specialist

Have strong EC's

Have extensively dealt with Fortune 500 organizations and have strong risk consulting experience.

GMAT 670 (i guess the weak link in the chain)

Hi @[607202:hachiko], from what i know, you can upload a copy of your transcripts in the application stage. I suggest you confirm this with them over email. My application is complete and i had my interview on 9th August. Now waiting to hear from them!

Hi guys have have secured an admit for the batch starting Apr'13.

Will start with my visa and loan processes now.

I got a confirmation within 3 weeks but they normally stipulate 3 to 4 weks

Well the interview is quite informal and more like a discussion.

They mostly run through a checklist of questions, all standard interview questions.
Just try and be relaxed and you should be fine.

Below is the comprehensive list of questions I had prepared for:

1) Tell me about yourself?
2) Tell me about your professional experience? / Run me through your resume?
3) Why Canada?
4) Why MBA?
5) Why Ivey and not queens, rotmans?
6) Why should we offer you a seat in MBA class of 2012?
7) Do you consider yourself a leader and why?
8) International experience?
9) Which is your development area? / One major weakness? / 2 strength/weakness?
10) Kind of jobs I am looking post MBA?
11) What are your target companies after MBA (3) & Why?
12) What is your backup if you do not get through these companies?
13) If not able to achieve your short term goal then what?
14) Which geography I want to launch my career and why?
15) Experience with client facing... what was the learning?
16) Situation where you had a difficult client and how you dealt with it?
17) Most difficult professional challenge?
18) Instance of leadership quality?
19) Example of a challenging situation leading a multinational team?
20) Short term goals & How do you see consulting team and Ivey helping you attain your short term goal?
21) Example on how would you work in a team with one team member lagging behind?

23) What has been making headlines for you these days? / What papers / blogs do you read? - what is the most interesting story / news that you have been following lately - they will then ask you more questions about the story / news item that you mention so make sure you know everything about it

It surely is a releif. No schol though. Arranging the funds is going to be a real pain. I just hope i dont have to drop the offer due to insufficiency of funds.
