Hi,

If I get a Graduate Assistantship for a year which is renewable the next yr on maintaining a good academic record, do I have to show the bank statements for visa considering that I wud get the GA next year too.

For I-20 we need just 1 yr bank statements. But what about F1 visa in which we need to show 2 yrs.

For example, if my total expenses for a yr is 40000 of which I get 20000 as GA. So for the first yr I need to show 20000. What about the second yr. Do I show 20000(considering I wud maintain good academic records) or the full amount?
