Dear Sir/Madam
The level of English Section in the RBI Grade B Prelims Phase 1 examination was extremely high.
When we have one exclusive paper of English included in Phase 2 examination, the sectional cut off for English in Phase 1 examination should not be have much weight in Phase 1 examination.
Sincere request to reduce the cutoff for English sectionals lower than the previous year trends so that the deserving candidates are not missed out of the league because of language as one of the parameter

For all those who want to increase score in english section ----
Read good articles from business newspaper and try to find out tone , inference and main points out of it . jot down the essential vocab and observe the sense in which they have been used . and do all these after reading thoroughly an authentic grammar book. it will take time but thats the way out observing the recent trends. Gone are those days , when it was asked whether the tiger was killed by a knife or with a knife . Dont fall prey to these famous cliche questions which frequently make you go "wow" in the demo classes . Now if anyone has something for me in the DI section , please advise . time and work in DI is killing me... any agony aunt available ?
