can you please tell how u prepared for mains, which books & materials u used? is itlike preparing for UPSC mains? how much did u study & how did u divided time b/w mains & prelims preparation? thanks in advance.
thanks sir for reply.can u provide some insight abt time gap between result declaration and training start up and some detail abt training and job nature.i am requesting all this as i am already in job in FCI.any idea abt when this yr result will b declared.i am bothering u for all this detail as i am very much unsatisfied with my present employer and eager to leave it as early as possible.waiting 4 ur reply sir
There is still no notification for diz yr grade b xam....last year i missed the date which i dnt want to happen again diz year...Please guys if anyone get to know anythng abt the exam please update it in diz forum...

dear when was ur interview and how did it went ? What they asked you about.
no notification till now?? is it gonna be declared this yr or not??
14 august(pak independence day).mainly focused on my subject agriculture science and dairy science.they asked me abt food security,white revolution,defination of agriculture science and some important breed of buffalo.abt PL scheme and green revolution.whether loan waiver was right or not.why gujrat is successful in dairy and not other state(they told AMUL was 1the reason).tell something abt u.have u appeared in interview.any idea abt result.

Most of the questions you have asked are already answered in detail in the previous posts on this thread, so going through that might help, since you would get answers from diff perspectives.
I was working while giving this exam, so first studied for the prelims, and began for the mains only after i got my prelim results (Though this strat may not work for all)

The training starts generally 2-3 months after your results. Training would cover topics on functions of RBI as well the reasons why they do certain things the way they do ;-)
I would not be able to compare the nature of the Job since this is my first job in a Govt Org, and I worked for a Pvt firm before this.
The work pressure is less but the responsibilites more. :0

The exam notificatons generally come abt a month after the interviews are complete. No one would know the exact date except the RBI website...LOL
@lalo me from rajashtan.agri graduate.very confused men.have been at top some time and some time at bottom in life.done my graduation from Rajasthan college of agriculture,udaipur and PG from NDRI Karnal in agriculture economics with ICAR JRF.work 4 near 2.5 year in vijaya bank as agri officer and then join FCI as manager but not satisfied here.loves 2 have an red light at top of my car but not able to convert this dream in reality.will join RBI and njoy wine in rest of my life.what abt u

guyz tell me about the placements that rbi does at mba collges like iim/fms????
do they recruit at grade b level from these colleges our grade c/d???????

The trg is at Reserve Bank Staff College Chennai. Pay would depend on the package they mention in ur final call letter

RBI recruits only at Gr'B' level only. Both Campus recruits (IIM,FMS etc) and Direct Recruits (through the exam), are treated on par in all aspects
