hi puys this is gaurav . just back from RBI exam my attempts & analysis is as under.
GK - attempted 72 out of 80.Very easy section.questions were from banking,finance & current affairs
English - attempted 16 out of 30.less time for this section.Did not even read passage.Attempted other questions.Difficulty - Moderate
Quant - attempted 14 out of 30 .again less time for it. very lengthy & calculative questions.attempted only 3 DI sets.DI sets were easy.Overall difficult section.
Reasoning - attempted 25 out of 60.Tough section but some questions were easy.It was important to pick easy questions.Some sets were very difficult.
Total 127 questions attempted out of 200 with appro. 90% accuracy.
Overall paper was difficult other than GK section.

I was just wondering that how come some of the people were able to solve around 50 questions in LR. I think that was the toughest reasoning section i've ever seen. I hope those puys who are making these statements have a genuine attempt rather than flukes.

I am wondering the same. 1 question per minute is the limit. I have NEVER seen anyone solve faster. These guys are walking calculators.
That question on 6 floors as well as most seating arrangements were very tough.There was no starting point and you had to figure all permutations out. Terribly time consuming.

Yes, i m of the same opinion, both the arrangemnt type lr questions hd no starting points... To solve them within the time limit wud hav been xtremely tough as there wer 3-4 combinations for each type..

Not expecting call at all,this was 10 days preparation by me time limitation & lack of preparation cost me a lot though paper overall cut off is expected to increase by at least 20 marks from last year cut off

yaa..u r right this is the only way to prepare for LR....one of my professors always told me to design puzzles n solve them...its not worth practicing from any books for such type of questions!!! but i regret :-(( i never took his suggestions seriously!!!!!!!!!!!.......
