It will take around 10 mins for all the formalities.

dont knw wat to do and wat not to do ....only 3 days left......

could we discuss strategy for the exam...

LR 60 ques in 60 mins ..... possible attempt ...... 45-48
maths 30 ques in 20 mins ..... possible attempts ..... 18-21
eng 30 ques in 20 mins ..... possible attempts ..... 16-20
GK 80 ques in 80 mins ..... can attemp all if one knows the answer...it depends on ur knowledge....but an attempt of 50-55 is good in this i guess...

the total cut off shud be around 105-110

no yaar. with the sectional timings this time, and with lesser time for all three sections except for GK, i guess a score of 20 in GK, 20 in LR and 7-8 marks in both verbal and quant should fetch a call. Thats just my take on it. Wat do you guys think about it ?

:nono::nono::nono:this is impossible!!!!!!! come on.....any ordinary person can score this much without even preparing..........whts the meaning of saying it as "THE COMPETITIVE EXAM"..with such score u cannot even qualify in a CLERICAL EXAM in any PSB!!!!!......IF u really want to get through u have to cross 100 marks...if u r very clear with all the concepts u can easily score a 100!!!!!!!!! its not a big deal......:cheerio::cheerio::cheerio::cheerio:

I would have agreed with you if there would have not been any sectional timings. In 20 mins, a person cannot attempt all 30 questions. I guess at max 10-12. And considering 3-4 wrong, a score of 7-8 is normal.
I made my point considering the sectional timings for all the sections.
Lets hope for the best.

There is a huge difference. Last year's GK was one of the easiest of all times. Not only that, the other three sections were also easier than the normal paper. Also, the total time for the remaining three sections was more.

This year the time for other three sections is lesser.
I predict the cut offs to go lower considering the time factor and other changes that have been incorporated.

Yes there were sectional timings last year.
Also, I guess the total cut off may go about 55-60 marks this time for the general category.
Anyways, others are correct - lets discuss all this tommorrow.

RBI serious aspirant cd attempt 80/80(as our lazygadha did)

i cd say u may attempt this section twice within 45 min

i did arround 60-65 nt xactly counted

EN : 15

i never mk comment on this section


mere sath iska 36 ka aankda hai

God sv me from cutoff

QA : 16

moderate level

first 15q : TOUGH
attempted 2q

last 15q : damn easy attempted 14

LR : 51

typical IBPS LR

Mix of easy and lanthy typo que

cd nt manage to attempt 1 puzzle of 8 que and 1 another que


overall 90% accuracy except english

expecting 110/200 frnm lr, qa, ga

5 or 7 from english

Final comment : will clear phase 1 of RBI xam provided i ll clear english cutoff

ws awsm experience for me to attempt ppr in time boundathion

PS : Met with 1 puy lazygadha. Knowledge ki khan hai. Best wishes for him fr Sbi asso and RBI.

took RBI exam today..was one hell of a paper due to the tie constraints..
GK -- 63 attmpts -- was moderate neither tough nor easy ... Made 5-7 silly mistakes
English -- 27 attmpts -- was moderate.. Rc was a bit twisty as wer some of the grammar

Maths -- 18-20 (i guess didn't count) was easy except for some time taking calculations...

LR -- 35-40 -- was divided into 2 parts.. D easy n d very tough.....


Overall a much tougher paper as compared to previous years...

WOW. That is a seriously high number of attempts. 51 in LR is way too good. Some sets were VERY tough. Congrats start preparing for mains.

I did about 45 in GK, 25 in english, maybe 15 in quant, 30 something in reasoning i think, not sure though, it was the last section and if i had the paper in hand i could tell better. Definitely not more than 40 attempts.

I probably won't clear I think.

Less than a thousand. This ppr is very competitive, 1.6 lakh ppl appeared fr it.

hmmmm so finally the bap of all bank exams is done with its first phase.....great attempts again pagalguys...:).....but seeing your attempts in gk i think this year the cut offs would go higer....anyhow the real test starts in 2nd phase so all the very best to u all...and those who think they will definetly make it start your preperations for 2nd phase straight away...as the competition there is very high class(just from my experience of last time).

PS:could not give the exam this time:( as my app. did not reach them in time and my name was not in the list....hate this border town ganganagar:(.

My Attempts :


GK : 50 to 55

English : 23 to 25

Quant : 15 to 16

LR : 45 to 47

Didnt have time to count the attempts exactly but i am very sure that these are the attempts ..... Lets see .... less than 1000 to qualify out of 1.6 Lakh is a very tough call... so not keepin very high hopes with these kinda attempts
