Did anyone get his/her admit card yet???
Well to my end I have started reading The Hindu Business Line from June 2011 to November 2011 and Pratiyogita Darpan of course. Besides this I'm reading Banking module of NSE.
Going through the paper I realized that only news doesn't matter but you'll have to go in deep of the news. Like Asean summit is happening at Bali is good for Bank PO but for RBI you'll have to study the whole discussion which went into Asean.
So keep working hard with high spirit. All The Best

I am asking this because SNAP is also on 18th december from 2 - 4 PM.
So, would it be practically possible to take SNAP after RBI Exam 😃

Since you are a government employee, you have good practice of working in government sector.But if you go for banking,you have to do different kind of work.Again in RBI you will have to work under any kind of work that comes under RBI.So there is no exact comparison in these 2 jobs.The job is best one when compared to BANK PO position.You will be posted anywhere in India in RBI branch.So work load depends on which job profile you get.

@rushikesh90 is correct u cant compare both these jobs...but at the same time u cant compare Bank PO also with RBI..coz central banking is completely different from normal banking. The job profile totally depends on the deptt to which u are attached and the office to which you are posted to, see there are as many as 27 deptts in Reserve Bank so it is difficult to define the job profile of a Grade B DR. About work pressure in 90% of the offices and deptts it is definitely lesser than a Bank PO. As far as the promotion avenues are concerned it takes around 5-6 yrs on an average to be promoted from Grade B Manager to Grade C AGM.

Please help out.. Are the attempts of RBI exam counted even if you dont appear for the exam?? I filed up its form but am not prepared enuf to give it dis yr.. Would prefer to save one attempt in case its not counted. Please also give the source of your information.

If u didnt appear then they wont count your chance..
relax take it easy..
but i will advise u to go for it whevr u have prepared will be enough to crack RBI

frst dey will release d list on their website whose application has bn sucessfully processsed nd in dec 1 week,they will send d admit card....

see ur name in d list vch rbi will isuee soon,,,if ur name appears in d list then u will get d admit card...so just cross ur finger...and wait
