hello puys

i am very new to this thread

please guide me 4r preparation of rbi grade b

English : was Good ..... essay was best part....little difficulty in proposal writing ...... rest was ok...... i will say its moderate paper ..because of technical nature of passage.

Eco and social issues : general nature ...easy to moderate

Fin and mgmt : moderate because of special instruction of wrting brief and to the points ....we generally have habit of writing as a story but this paper calls for succinct writing..

so overall good paper with above average standard....i am hoping to get overall 50 to 55 % of 300.

what u guys think of difficulty level

well just passed my engg 3rd year exam

will be graduating in 2012

i have one query can i give this exam on coming oct 16

i guess exam is in 2 phases

1st phase in oct and 2nd in march ????

can i give it this time ????????????/

@ Sanchit......They ask your graduation % and year in which you are passing graduation while filling the form which is a computerised system.....Thus no place for requests.....Thus I guess you will not be able to fill the form this time....BUT you can always contact respective authority at RBI at put your query,may be they have better answer of your question....All the best....

Do they concentrate on G.K ?? or Its like a Banking kind of interview (unlikely)........If someone knows plz share..that will help preparatin for interviews(Ofcourse if Cleared Phase 2)....

i Think they will take more time....last year main exam was in feb and final joining in september...7 months for entire process...so written exam result will take atleast 3 months

M a second year economics honours student.
Is it possible to study for RBI exam's aptitude test with CAT material.(Actually I have enrolled myself with a coaching institute in my city and MBA is my first choice)
For the economic course,is Mishra and Puri for indian economy;MC vaish And Sudama Singh for international economics;HL ahuja for both micro and macro economics fine?These are my coursebooks so in any case i have to study them side by side.
How should I go with my preparations from now on?
I want to give both the exams(MBA exams and RBI).
and yes,what are other bank exams i can give just after graduation?

I am new at this..
Please tell me what post does the RBI conducts exam for... I know there are many.. I meant which post am I elligible for..

10th - 80%
12th - 85%
Graduation - 74%
MBA (International Business) - 68%
Currently working with HCL Technologies responsible for Banking solutions in US Geography.

nope. you should have got atleast 60% to be elligble.or 55% in PG.

just called RBI..they said result would be come within next 10 days.
previous year result come 62 after main exam.

so this make this date 21 August.

Expect result on 22 or 23 best of luck
