@h4ever No idea. But it is almost 2 years since last grade B notification came. God knows when will it come.
@maverik02 ya i am actually beginning to believe the rumors that gr b notification wont be announced for another 3 years
@MrsTripathi Yes me too heard some rumors that now RBI will come out for Grade A instead of Grade B. But nothing is official. I guess the wait gets longer.

No, it is an officer level post. Officers start from Grade A in RBI.
@maverik02 there are all sorts of rumors out there, some were certain that assistants vacancy would be announced in march, well march is almost gone, and still no vacancy, this wait is getting tiring
Hi, Can MBAs in stream like International Business from a premier B-school( other than IIMs) can apply fr RBI officer grade 'A'???
Read somwhere that only IIM passout MBAs can apply...

RBI asks for graduation in any stream. See this educational criteria, it is from the previous notification.
i) A First Class Bachelor's Degree with a minimum of 60% marks or an equivalent grade OR ii) A Second Class Master's Degree with a minimum of 55% marks or an equivalent grade OR iii) A Doctorate Degree with 50% marks in Master's Degree or equivalent grade OR iv) Chartered/Cost Accountant/Company Secretary (ACS) with a Bachelor's Degree OR v) A Post Graduate Diploma in Management /MBA qualification from institutions recognized by Government of India/ University Grants Commission, with Graduation / Bachelor's Degree)
