I AM NOT HAPPY!

well happy diwali to all of you 😃

@coming2iim have 2 wait n kp patience..
@Divina i have indian economy by ramesh Singh..is it worth for preparing the part. or should i buy dutt and sundaram?
@MANEE I have not seen that book so can't say for sure.
@coming2iim dont worry much about notification dude...notification will come may be in december or jan or feb 2013..what does make difference when it comes...it dosnt make difference if it will be 2 or 3 months late,..but important thing is preparation..start ur preparation..keep patience ..if ur preparation is good it will make difference ..2 or 3 months late doesnt make much difference to our life..important thing is to crack the exam..by this positive thought i m start preparing my self and try to gve my 100% this time but i need guidence from the candidate who passed ..though mostly candidate gve their preparation strategy .. that i will read and start follow and do prepare very hard for this exam.. i m busy now for a week after that i start preparation.. thanks and congrates to all candates who cleared and get rbi grade b job.. best of luck to the aspirants who wants their dream come true....by sanjay
@lalo i am actually worried because i heard that they donot need grade b at this point of tym and planning for GRADE A............i dont like all this rumors mounting.

About 18 of the selected candidates have formed a group in FB. It is a closed group and cannot be found by searching. Please request some member from the above link to add you to that other group if you are selected.

To all senior puys: How much importance does Job profile have when it comes to RBI grade B selection? Cracking RBI is my dream , am selected in SBI (assist) and cleared IBPS PO too with decent marks. But going by the experiences shared by the senior puys, PO job hardly leaves them time to study. SBI , when compared to other banks , offers much better perks and salary. I am 22 plus now and will be 23 soon. Am stuck between whether to stay with SBI, wait for 3 years and get promoted to Asst. mgr , thinking about the long term benefits , or to join as PO and focus on RBI only...So just bit confused....Will an experience as PO be given more importance than an assistant profile or it solely depends on mains and interview marks?Please do reply .

Hello susmita89 - can you please tell me which PO exam(Date) did u appear for?? I took exam on 17th june, got selected too, but could not check my score as IBPS link's server was not found..

@maggi15 17th June 's exam only. How come? The link was working fine. http://www.ibps.in/html/CWE_PO_March_2012.htm
See this link.
@susmita89 it solely depends on mains(phase 2) marks and interview marks. The recent batch consists of candidates with diverse backgrounds...
@harshasaripalli ohk...So whether am a clerk or PO or whether its SBI or UCo it wont affect right...that's a good news.. :)
dear aspirants, since my phase 2 marks are not gr8 i have refrained myself from posting my strategy. However based on my own experience i would like to share some pointers which i think might be of some benfit to you all:

(1) Donot neglect english. MOst of the aspirants without any prep score around 55. However >65 marks is acheivable with small effort.
- For Argumentative essay, pls refer to youtube, to understand the format.
- For Report writing, pls buy any good book which mentions "Business Correspondence" in its title.
- For Precis Writing, refer youtube and Ren and Martin

(2) For Economic and social issues, you may purchase latest version of this book. Covers almost every topic and most importantanly in precise manner.

(3) Take printout of the syllabus and last 5 yeears Question papers. Practice answer writing and also try to relate each Question to a topic in the syllabus, this way you can estimate the depth to which the questions are asked from each topic. It is specially imp. in paper 3.

(4) Write answers either in pts (where ever possibele) or in short paras. This is told to one of my friend in the examination hall by the invisilater when he pointed out that no word limit has been mentioned.

Apart from this, books and strategy has already been shared by our topper friends 😃
My marks are 175 + 30 = 205.

Here is one video that help me kept motivated through this lenthy process. I have watched it atleast a hundred times ;)

I would later post my strategy for interview...

All the best puys... You are going to make it this time. Continue the hard work and remember patience is the key...

It should not affect. However in the interview, you should be able to convince the interview panel that you love RBI.
@harshasaripalli Of course I do! Honestly. :)

@harshasaripalli For prelims, where do we find practice sets for reasoning? Its standard is quite high.
