Can anyone tell Us about number of applicants in 3 different stages of screening process in this year's(2011) RBI Grade-B Exam???
it'll surely give an approx image of the level of competition in this particular Exam.....

Prelims: Applications- 1,70,000..About 1 lakh would have appeared I guess
Mains: 1400

Hi, could you please tell me how did you prepare for the question in English Paper(the last one) on ''draft a committee report or draft a proposal.'' What should i do to prepare it ? Should i refer any book to prepare it ?

@streethawk11 Hi.. Yes you need to refer some book on drafting circulars, proposals etc. That is what I did..

Please refer previous years phase-2 papers for the different types of letter writing that you need to be familiar with.

The book I used was Business Communication (Business Correspondence) by S.Kathiresan and Dr.Radha, contains circulars, report writing, letters to editor, banking correspondence etc. These are all variations of formal letter writing. Please refer previous years phase-2 papers for the different types of letter writing that you need to be familiar with.
