@96321 i called the secetary and he said that they have despatched the letters and we should have them by next week . I called him yesterday 11th Oct .
@trvg i asked him that is there any chance that the joining may get delayed till jan or feb 2013 , the secetary replied that no chance , the joining will be in nov , it's already finalized . this was exactly what he replied .
dear friends , i am interested in RBI grade B exam and willing to appear in the next exam . I need your help regarding something , please help me out with this .
I have heard that in the last exam of RBI grade B held in 18 Dec 2012 ( phase 1 ) only 150 mins time was given whereas in the instructions in RBI site it is written that total time is 180 mins .
Again i have heard that there is time division for each section , for 30 numerical questions only 20 mins were alloted and for 60 general awareness questions time alloted was 45 mins and even you finish general awareness part before time , you are not allowed to use that time in other sections .
I need to know how much time is alloted for reasoning and english and what is the total time 150 mins or 180 mins ?
If you people know anybody who have already appeared in the latest RBI Grade B exam please ask him and update here . It would help us a lot ..... please help .
@kdas12aug bhai, i am also selected from kolkata....but the mumbai region said that they will send call letters in oct 31 and joining will be by december....but now here union secretary said diff things....so what do u think what will happen?
i also asked about the medical test and he said that it will be organized in RBI itself by their personal doctors . in kolkata region total 145 candidates are selected and medical test will be in 2 batches of 75 candidates approx .
unlike other banks where they tell you to submit reports of medical test , here they will conduct medical test themselves .

maaf karna friends , i don't know whether i have heard him wrongly or he said something else , today i called to know about the medical test and if any rejection is possible and he said it will be routine medical check up and they will see if there is color blindness and also height and weight . if you are under weight they will give you another date to come for check up ( khana acche se kha kar mota hoke aana hai ) and if you are not extremely color blind there is no such chance of rejection .
he again said that it is confirmed that joining will be in Nov but he said we will dispatch letters by next week after confirmation will come from Mumbai . Don't know whether i heard him wrongly last time .... pls forgive me friends .
@abhiabhiabhi i want to know about time alloted for each of english , reasoning , numerical and reasoning in phase 1 exam of grade B . i have heard that 20 mins were alloted for 30 numerical questions , 45 mins for 60 General Awareness questions but what about other sections ?
if anybody known to you have appeared in grade B , hr/she can give us the information .

@akash12345678 i have written a mail to the DGM that i was worried about the case and asked him , " is there any chance that the list will get cancelled " he replied " no , the list will not get cancelled , regards " .
actually if RBI gives us joining before the case is resolved then those two candidates will file contempt of court , so until that case is resolved joining is a problem . Again , another thing can happen , RBI might say that all the states cannot suffer and give joining to other states and wait till case is resolved to give joining for those states from where those candidates appeared . But i wish all all of us get relieved and get joining at the same time ...
