long run....! what is long run friend. its very obvious that u will not continue in one bank throughout ur life. u jst need 2 take experience n move away 2 d nxt level in d comptition. friend its true that rbi is a big brand name. but job profile also matters in my opinion.
hello everybody , i am from kolkata and i called the secetary here yesterday and they said that we will receive letter by next week and joining will be in Nov ( it's finalized ) .
my question is , will all the appoint letter's of all 1000 candidates be despatched from Mumbai office of from respective states ?
will the joining of all states be on the same date ?
I have seen thatin case of other banks in previous recruitments , joining is in batches and not on the same date all over india .

i think joining will start from end of nov and stretch till dec maybe ..

this is not good, they should give a definite date of joining at least a month in advance.
i have to give a months notice from my job and this uncertainty does not help. if they sat join in 15 days ill be in a tight spot. also scared to quit now as who knows bein a govt inst maybe the joining will be delayed to jan , feb or even later. @rahul.kataria srry dude but see in po u can not grow fr sure ....that s final n wrk s same ..po also wrks as a clerk fr 2 years ok ...with no powers ...so if u can utilise 2 years in rbi fr studies it will b good fr u ...rest s ur wish ..bye tc

hey buddy you had a word with the DGM about the accommodation right? But on the initial advrt they said accommodation is subjected to availability, so does that mean only some of us are gonna be lucky?
@appollo yes they have to write in this way ....coz if someone wont get it then he will be gunning fr their head .....i guess evryone will get it ..even if u don get it ..u will get reimbursement fr the same ..!!

coz i really don't think they would be having 280 vacant apartments at this point of time.

@appollo sse they also have leased accomodations , yes i m frm mumbai ...!!! rbi has sufficient accommodation in mubai ...i feel they have declared 212 results n out of 212 few wont b joining fr sure ...correct me if i m wrong
exactly! good to hear that. but still a bit worried about those two pending cases man. any update on those?
