my interview was on 25th august in RBI at Mumbai.
There was 225 seats nd they selected 707 candidates for interview.
bt only 290 students are only eligible nd rest are disqualified.
One of the member told that in the first day i.e on 13 august in the list 40 students bt 38 are disqualified and 1 was absent. there was only one student who face interview
how did u come to know about it?
any body knows when d result out?
We need to carry only the original certificates and call letter for interview right? or am i missing something?
@xSWAPNILx Right!...Whatever you have sent, carry their originals with the call letter. If working, carry NOC.

Time : 9AM actual time when mine started 3 PM
interview was over within 15 minutes
Questions: (1)how your educational background will help working in bank?
I told them but were not satisfied.(whole day asked same question to all candidates and they remained unsatisfied all the time
).
Then 2 questions from my academic background very much general questions that anyone can answer.
(4) why dont you go for job in your field?(5)why dont you start your own buisness?(6) what are your plus points ? (7) three weaknesses ? (8) why u did this course (graduation)?(9) How u come know about rbi? (10) what are functions of rbi? (11) what other exams u have given? (12) which companies u have given interviews? for which posts? why did not join?
Then one of the panelists again came to weakness question because i have not answered that question was skipped by other panelist's question, while trying to answer they told me its over you can go now.. thanks...,..
There were candidates from diff academic backgrounds, diff job backgrounds,some were working in banks also..mostly questions were from job or educational backgrounds.....more u have written in bio data more will be the questions. For me i have feeling that i might have missed opportunity.....
they even not checked my certificates not at the time of interveiw also! i was carrying that certificate folder whole day but no one asked for that! dont know abt results but for mumbai region the current interveiw session going to end on 4th sept.

I had my intrw on 28th
Our Certificate Verification started at 9.30,b4 dat they served us tea.We need only our original certificates.I hadn't sent photocopies of my graduation and postgradutn semester-wise marksheets b4,so they themselves took it.
There was only one panel that day with 24 candidates,bt only 18-20 were present.
The intrw started by 10am,parallel to the doc verfctn and it took only around 15-20 mins for each.I was 9th,mine strtd at 12.30pm
There was 4 members in the panel-1 lady n 3 men
I enter and wished them,they askd me to take seat.actually i didnt find the seat much comfortable bcoz they sat lik in a U shape,2 parallelly to my left and right 1 in front and the lady to the corner,so i had to try hard to maintain eye contact with each of them wen the other person askd questions.
Anyways,the panel was vry cool and frndly,that was vry comfortable.
They started wid my place,why long gap aftr my PG,how did i prepard 4 bank xams(-whethr gone 4 coaching/depend any guide etc).my prev intrw xperiences,rbi website,2 +ve and -ve points u find in rbi website,rates,defference btw world bank and imf,apex banks of USA and UK,etc...
Til then it was cool then one guy askd me about ISI,What is High commision and Indian Embassy,differnc btw them,Wats hawala and the hawala scandal etc...and some
acronyms which i havent even heard about!!!!!Totally it was neither satisfactory nor depressing...coz i answered 50-50..
hmmm....i took around 20 mins and after that i got my TA from d vry nxt room...we need to fill a form and submit our tickets.
As far as i know there was no rejections on that day.
