Hey all! Today two of my friends had their interviews... One of them is a BE grad- has work exp in s/w... she was asked fns of RBI, inflation, hobbies, why assistant post in rbi, social n/w sites banning, which countries have banned it, who are listed as most powerful women frm india in forbes list...
My other friend is a Masters in physics... He was mostly asked questions in physics... why he has to come to bank... why doesnt he work further in physics field...
Mine's on Monday! Really scared! Anything could be asked!
@NANDUANAND i've done degree. all four departments i.e Food and beverage, food production, housekeeping and front office comes in it...and i've subject of accounts,financial management and computers also.

Anilswami1.....dont worry u can esily face the answer......use ur knowledge in accounts,finance computer....and customer centric........as posses all the qualities that needed fr a bank employee....since its RBI customer centric won't be stressed bt prepare and brush ur finance accounts etc
Anybody knows when RBI will come out with d final result of assistant?
hai friends i attended my interview today in chennai [Board - 2].. i am BE and mba graduate. so they asked some questions about my project. then some questions from newspaper (read last one week newspaper). Also about olympics, hobbies and banking.
Few questions which I remember,
1. Consider that a person has deposits in one particular bank and suppose if that bank fails which company will take responsibility to return the amount to customers and how much amount they will return?
2. Regarding the RBI website? Please have a look into the website .

answer some way or the other will help..if there is any function or a meeting in large ,to arrange some facilities and providing food in a cordial way,ur hotel management will help and u ll do ur best for that..As a assistant u should answer u can do ur best for all ways

Hey .. I am also a s/w engg... They are only asking why you come to bank frm s/w it seems... Thats what my friend told me...
i have a degree in computer science. Hence they asked me the role of IT in banking and financial inclusion. Also asked me to compare the prospects of a clerk in a nationalized bank and an assistant in RBI, since I am in BOB. In short be thorough with whatever you've filled in your bio-data form. That will be it.
Hello guys , i had my interview on 24th at Chennai, Board 1 which was chaired by Regional Director of RBI(Chennai). There were 4 members including him.... I enjoyed this experience... Ppl @ RBI treated al d candidates lik their guests.... My interview was for around 15 min
I am from Engg background. so, there was question on how it would b useful for RBI ?
Other basic questions like CRR, SLR, Repo, ACU, WTO, World Bank, Financial Inclusion, Cyber crime, Functions of RBI.... Questions from bio data, work experience, home town, Project, Reason for leaving the previous job.... Board chairman was very supportive and friendly to interact. Everybody there were very supportive even during certificate verification.

ya, ACU is Asian Clearing Union..... The questions also depend upon ur current field of work... If u r already working in banking or finance related fields, there r more technical questions....
