from who all should we get surety signed?and how much amount stamp shud be attached to it?
plz guide me..m totally confused regarding this surety issue.....
@subhagha on 100 rs stamp paper with given format provided by RBI in ur mail or accompined by RBI offer letter documents....get signed by any gazzated officer from central or state govt. or any clerk of nationalise govt bank or probationary officer of any govt bank...

@trvg i similarly got the letter from Chandigarh office but no information about the medical... Will it be done at the bank, because something like banks medical officer has been mentioned time and again. And is the surity to be made on stamp paper?
The person picking up the calls to the hrmd office seems to be in no mood to tell anything. Also of the 3 character certificates is one to be signed by the last attended college etc?

At Kolkata I called up RBI Union member , he said to do medical . after that wait for 2-3 days , then go to RBI Bank's Medical Officer at RBI Building .... then physical examination wll take place ..... go to union room there surety bond will be executed.....

seems kolkata staff are friendly, chandigarh hrmd (surender) is typical sarkari variety. he doesnt know anything, wont listen, wont speak, its like talking to a wall. just dumb!!

yes, there is no medical to be done from outside, probably their inhouse medical officer will do the needful.
That hrmd seems to be a complete idiot! im also fed up of him. there is no source of information. im thinking of writing to the human resource dept of rbi mumbai.

you are lucky for having sensible people at rbi kolkata. guess these unions are really good and helpful for the employees.

I know a person who is ready to give surety and he is Grade A officer in Rural development bank.Is it acceptable? I mean rural dev. bank comes under NABARD, is it ok then?

Need clarification about
whether --
1) a school teacher or atleast a head master of govt. aided or fully govt. school can be surety?
2) an asst. professer, professer or principle of a college can be surety?
3) medical officer working in govt. hospital?
4) a relative like brother,sister,father can be surety?(if govt. employee)
5) cousin or any other relative!?( if govt. employee)
6) the same person who has signed character certificate can be surety?
7) the one who is govt. employee but hasn't got confimation can be surety?
@skars first paper of 100 rs then second page of executive bond paper,which is green in colour will do for it(if u dont have two 100 rs stamp paper)...rural officer(who is not on probation period i.e got confirmation from his organisation) will also do to execute bond..dont be panic read carefully offer letter,u will get solution...

100% OK and two pages is also OK.

Point 1: Headmaster is ok
Point 2: principle of college can be surety, i am not sure about proffesor.
Point 3: Medical officer working in govt hopital is also become surety if he is class I or II or grade A or B officer.
Point 4: relative will not be acceptable.
Point 5: same as 4.
Point 6: not sure but i think it is ok.
Point 7: not accetable as surety

thanks dear. no, not yet. I called appollo clinic, they told me that u have to come empty stomach between 9:30 to 10:30 and charges are approx Rs. 2500.
