i m staying in mumbai sub urban still not received letter(RBI HQ is approx 1 hr distance by local train from my place)...so u can think of sarkari work...uper se ye surety bond ka lafda..koi sign karne ko rajji hi nahi hai....and other trouble college se character certificate kaise milega.. as i left college years ago....pata nahi RBI mere jaise candidate kue select karta hai jinka kise Gazzated officer se paichan nahi hoti...ab kya karu....

just called 2722084, they transferred me to the person in charge of human resources. He said that chandigarh office is yet to send any form of communication. he asked me to wait patiently for the letter.
when i asked when will they send the letter, he said just wait for it. When it comes complete all the formalities and send it to us. when i asked what formalities and when will be joining he said " everything is mentioned clearly in the letter, read all instructions, fulfill all formalities and send it to us. " he was in no mood to say anything else.
i guess we have no choice but to wait and hope they give some time for completing their mammoth formalities.

exactly, they should have mentioned one of the eligibility criteria that one should have a close relationship with a gazetted officer to appear for the exam.
