I spoke to the Chennai Union leader, he says it will be out by this weekend [ Friday ] . Am not very hopeful though, didn't sound convincing, looked more like a prediction.
From a friend working in rbi as assistant :- unofficial date of result is 3rd dec ( after rbi grade b result)
mene abhi rbi mumbai office mai 022 22601000 par call kiya tha.
unhone bola hai ki result december k first week mai ayega.
november mai nhi ayega.

What is it like to work in RBI?
Working for the Reserve Bank of India is like working in any other organisation but with a few benefits other organisations may not have.
My mother has been working with the RBI for the last 30 years and I think I can try and give you a rough picture of how it is.
Benefits of working for RBI:
- They have a five day week.
- They dont deal with the public directly so the employees are not the usual rude, short tempered people we come across in other banks.
- They have excellent guest houses all across the country.
- They'll provide you with accommodation in the quarters maintained by RBI if you are transferred to a new place or if you don't have a house of your own in the city.
- They give scholarships for your children's education. They also give education loans if your child wants to study further of up to 20 lakhs at very nominal rates.
- You can avail housing loans too up to 30 lakhs, also at very nominal rates.
- And car loans, consumer loans.
- Furniture advances, festival advances etc are also pretty generous.
- They allow their employees to take leave for 2 years continuously if they have to join their spouse who has been posted elsewhere.
- They have excellent medical benefits where the whole family is covered. Complete annual check ups, dispensary facilities.
- My favourite perk is that we can take a vacation once a year (if its within India(once in two years of we wish to travel abroad)) where RBI reimburses almost the whole trip expenses minus the tax portion.
- Sodexo meal coupons.
- Regular training programs.
- Great salaries.
- Comparatively less stressful.
Downside of working with the RBI:
- Contrary to the popular belief that government organisations are very laid back, the RBI is anything but that. They are very strict about pretty much everything. Timings, leaves, deadlines & everything else.
- If you are found taking even a soiled ten rupee note from the bundle that's about to be shredded anyway, you will lose your job.
- You dont really get to see bundles of notes everywhere. Its like any normal office with only papers, files & computers everywhere This really disappointed me. 😛

Cant stdy for Clerk neither preparing for PO intrvw.. All got stuckd due to this delay.. Frustation at its best.. I think I shall stopped exptng now

Ideally it would have been good if they could have released the Assistant result before start of Grade B exam process. 1 person from Mumbai RBI said " I am not sure,but maybe Assistant result MIGHT come only after end of phase 2 exam as for RBI, Grade B is priority over Assistant" . That means only after December 7th 😢
Is there possibility of any result tomorrow, either assistant or phase 1?
2014 recruitment process:
Admit cards for interview released on 28th Oct.
Final result declared on 31st Dec.
Days in between = 63
2015 recruitment process:
Admit cards for interview released on 05th Oct.
Assuming 63 days in between, due date is 8th Dec.

As per my calculation and some communication with RBI guys during certificate verification, I feel joining is not before 1st April for sure.
