I will share my experience of RBI Assistant. I have given it two times in 2013, 2014.
First Time ( year 2013):
Date : in September
Location :mumbai
After waiting for two hours my turn came,
That time i was working in Indian bank as clerk at Pune
( I have mentioned it in biodata form as well though i had joined it 3 just 3 months before)
Panel Members M1,M2,M3
M1: Are you from Pune
Me: Yes currently working in pune native place amravati(mh)
M1: So tell me what is famous sweet of chitale ?(a famous shop in Pune )
Me: Dont know. but bakarwadi is famous.
M1: You dont know. (he told me the name )
M2: Do you know German Bakery?
Me: Yes Sir
M2: Where is it located ?
Me: At koregaon Park
M2: What happened there
Me: blast happened some years ago.(Don't know the exact year.)
M2: Why only koregaon Park?
Me: sir as most of foreigners visiting there frequently.
M2: why they are coming in koregaon park?
Me: as there is ashram of Acharya rajneesh ji.
M1: so tell me about rajnessh ji.
me: Dont know
M1: You Dont Know. (So told everything about him in brief)
M3(Lady): Where are you posted in Indian Bank?
Me: answered
M3(lady); what are you doing there?
me: working in electronic data processing ( Doing server installation for branches ,bio metric installation etc.)
M3: so will you be in same place or will be posted some where else?
Me: No mam after some years will be transferred to branch

When the RBI cuts rates, banks are not cutting the rates proportionately; when RBI hikes rates, banks are in a hurry to hike rates. What will the RBI do in this regard?

. UCO Bank on 4 October 2015 registered the highest increase in gross Non-Performing Assets (NPAs) in percentage terms against total loans in the 2014-15 fiscal year. With this, UCO Bank became the worst performer among the other public sector banks.
. The Gross NPA to gross advances ratio of UCO Bank increased to 8.05 percent at the end of March 2015 from 4.47 percent, accretion of 3.58 on an annual basis.

So given again in 2014.Got 154 marks this time n cut off of mumbai region for gen category was 147.

I have completed 16 months in Indian bank that time.
Mentuined Off site monitoring ( Monitoring of Gliff difference ,rrtgs,neft , cash balance etc. Of all branches in zone at zonal office ) and electronic data processing as my work profile

M1: Hello kaustubh . so you are working in Indian bank . You have mentioned off site monitoring what is that ? Where is your posting?
Me: Answered
M1: so what is need of that ?
Me: answered
M1: Good .
M1: Do you find your engineering knowledge helpful in banking ?
Me: yes sir...
I am working in it dept of bank at zo so..
My some knowledge of communication engineering is helpful here .
M1: That's nice
M2: you are currently working as clerk in bank and coming for same post in RBI so . so why you want to join in same category post ? Why don't you apply for officer post in PSU or RBI grade B
Me: o am preparing for the same. This post is something better than the post currently I am working
M2: still why you want to come?
Me: answered again better opportunity n good salary stability
M2 M3 M 4 not looked convinced
So asked again the same question:

Me: sir if I continue in bank I will be posted in some rural posting n also don't know when I will became officer frim clerk
M3: so don't you want to work for rural people .
Me: no jot like that but not want to stay there...
M3: here also you will get promoted after some year n we have some locations where people afraid to go . so at that time will you not go to that place ? Will you not become officer in fear of posting ?
I looked puzzled .don't know what to answer .
Me: no mam I will go...in RBI I will be provided some good facilities wherever I go... But same might not happened in case of bank.
Still no one of convinced i added that I will get fimanacial knowledge here
M2: do you heard about jaiib n caiib
Me: yes
M2&M4: so whatever mentioned in that that's only knowledge you will get here also .
M2: So finally you don't want to work in rural okay.
I don't say anything
M3: tell me about citizen charter...
Suddenly she said ohh you are working in zo na. So you might not be knowing
Me: Yes Mam
M4: tell me about kyc norms
Me: answered
M1: kaustubh are you giving interview for this post second time ?
Me: yes sir
M1: thats nice..
So tell me some important functions of RBI...

Finally my name appeared in final list
Working in central office .
Got 23 marks out of 35 in interview final score 177
Cut off was also 177 out of 235.
Finally I will say ..
Prepare each n every point you have mentioned in bio data.
Every panel member will ask you related to what you have mentioned in bio data. Also preapre some banking terms as well

RBI Kolkata refuses to pick up the damn phone...my office( IT company- Tech Mahindra) refuses to issue NOC unless I get Reporting Manager's approval. If I tell him he'll throw me out of the current project.
What to do?

Why the hell does RBI need an NOC for a private company, what for?
