RBI recruitment seems to be an endless journey of swimming an ocean in the hope that there is an invisible island just few hundred metres ahead 😢😢

During April last week - "Doc verification on may 1st week,  joining on may last week


 During may first week - "Bio metric on first week doc verification on second week final list on third week joining on june

Last two weeks - Yet another bv , final list on last week,  joining on mid June

Next week - Bv for those who missed "missing bv" in June 1st week doc verification during august 15th joining by dusserah... 


After dusserah- Doc verification after next lok sabha election that too only if  yogi is pm candidate  final list after U.Patel's funeral and joining after next ice age.. first month salary will be placed  

 in ur great grand son's grave!!!!

I solved the mystery. RBI has friendzoned us.

Today called to Mumbai ofc n They said the result will come in June only.


Guys its better  call them every minute n irritate them. We already waited for long time. 


Don't know what's their intension in delaying the process.


RBI maintains and maintained Reserve List, earlier, taking a look at 2015 recruitment, total vacancies were 504 (advertisement- https://opportunities.rbi.org.in/Scripts/bs_viewcontent.aspx?Id=3024 ) , and since there used to be interviews, so after a single main examination, you must be amazed to know that ~ 283% more Candidates (383% of whole vacancies) were called for interviews. Here's the list(s) of Candidates called for interviews ( https://opportunities.rbi.org.in/Scripts/bs_viewcontent.aspx?Id=3072 ) and all regions add up to 1931.........................................................., Ahmedabad-108, Bengaluru- 152, Bhopal- 46, Bhubaneswar- 78, Chandigarh- 129, Chennai-126, Guwahati-37, Hyderabad-114, Jaipur-114, Jammu-38, Kanpur and Lucknow- 122, Kolkata-139, Mumbai-317, Nagpur-102,New Delhi - 111,Patna- 91, Thiruvananthapuram & Kochi- 107 TOTAL-1931...........................................................NOW, From Jaipur and Hyderabad stats, it seems that there was an approx 3.8 times candidate call ratio(both regions had same,i.e. 30 vacancies and called were 30*3.8=114) . So IT IS NOT A BIG DEAL, the second list with more candidates makes sense, to provide greater "selectivity" , earlier, the definition of "selectivity" was broader, 383% .... And from that list , they chose on the basis of interview+mains marks merit and top 30% of the remaining Candidates (after filling top 504 in 504 vacancies, i.e. 1931-504= 1427 and 30% of 504=151 ) so 151 were put in reserve list and rest(1427-151=1276) were not chosen for further selection procedure(Going by the GENUINE RTI filed by our buddy Abhilash DG that 30% is the criteria for reserve list, for which I have proof of authenticity, anyone interested, may PM me for the copy of the same). So here the big deal is that- > RBI never disclosed in the past the reserve list, so it may or may not disclose it this time, and may keep it internally. But this time everyone who's not selected from the second list will be automatically added in the "reserve list". And yes , had the error in first list not happened, the so called first list Candidates would have already been selected and the reserve list would have been made in the same manner as had been done earlier, and no extra 30% had to travel all the way down to Haveli.(although earlier also extra Candidates travelled and all couldn't make it, but this time , they had a choice to simply accept the mistake and not trouble the extra 30% but they're the decision makers, and the extra candidates should be entitled for compensation in my opinion-travel based and compensation & others, as applicable). So I just explained the similarity between 2015 and 2016, and please be positive, someone just commented that his friend got a call after 2 months since he was in reserve list last year. This post is not intended to target any audience, it's a neutral and non-personal analysis. stay +ve , stay focused. We have many roads to tread ahead.

Friends don't believe anyone or any rumour. According to many sources from regional offices all candidates in enhanced list are selected.


They need candidates. And moreover workload is too much in RBI currently. 


Many  people say many things. U have to be patient.

RRB (Railway Recruitment Board) NTPC 2015 ka result 26 MAY 2017 ko aa raha  hai ...

RBI ka result bhi aana chahiye probably next week or in June ...


As per my observation and discussions, the delay is being caused due to pending BV process of candidates where there was a mismatch in BV or they had taken an extension due to certain genuine reasons. However, the delay in the BV process which has taken up the whole month of May might be due to the mismatch cases being verified from any other process that is followed for such cases. There is also a possibility that they might not be expecting any extension and mismatch cases and hence officials of TCS/IBPS(whoever does the bv job) got busy with other banks after the original bv dates. Also, consider the fact that it is only a five days week and it seems that recruitment formalities are not on the top of their to-do list. In any case, their seems to a complete lack of empathy towards candidates' grievances by the authorities.
