NEWS: Ahmedabad region candidates have got their dv mails. Their dv and lpt(if applicable) is on 27th April. It means rbi has started sending out the mails. Rest of the regions too can expect their mails soon. Finally, some news by the end of the week.
now who in the name of Lordess is spreading this pathetic rumor that in RBI Ahmedabad our beloved Rajan bhai will personally verify the documents 😂 😂

Yesterday I called Rbi mumbai hrmd (after numerous attempt) regarding the fate of candidates added in the enhanced list. They told me that their role regarding recruitment and result is over now and their agm already send mails to all regional offices regarding further recruitment and they are now only responsible for mumbai region...They also told that not to call them for any result query and do call your respective regional offices, our role is over now....what does that mean?

Some questions and observations : Why don't RBI officials answer our queries? Why don't they keep us updated about the process? Do we or do we not have some rights to know? We paid the fees, we attended the exams, we got identity certificates attested by gazetted officers and we each sent more than 100 a4 papers of marks cards and stuff to RBI. (Let's ignore the intangible items like time dedicated and emotions invested) Still they are loath to give us one single acknowledgement of our existence. Is that the norm? Is that normal? Would it have been a lot of trouble to them to send everyone an email or two? One while releasing Select List. One when they received the documents. And one more when they realized they had messed up : 'we apologize for the delay. There has been a mistake'. They are so secretive. Always. If called regional office, they will say : we don't know anything, everything is done in Mumbai. It's evident that Mumbai isn't more forthcoming either. It is as through if they were to reveal anything that can be called 'information' , the whole economy of the world will collapse. Last week I asked a RBI assistant on Quora about the matter. Here is what he said : "RBI departments are not enquiry desks to answer your questions. Have some patience." The attitude. Patience I can muster. But i can't let go of the feeling that something isn't right. It doesn't feel fair that no one in RBI is answerable. It doesn't feel much like democracy. And it is bad economics, as well. And a request friends : Please, when we get in let us not forget how it felt to be kept in dark and kept waiting. Disclaimer: No offense meant, dear RBI. Please forgive me wherever I am wrong.
All these calls, mail, personal meetings... Still clueless about everything. RBI is secret as FBI. Someone, SOMEONE inside must know all the answers... He is kaabil-e-taarif. He didnt let anyone know what is going on. Any chance that person is @atul???

I have been selected for the post NIACL AO and my date of joining is on May 7th. But I really want to work in RBI. I am a general candidate selected in the first list with 142 marks. The thing that's bothering me is that when the new list ie the selected candidates plus the reserved list is published is there a chance that some candidates will file a court case and our recruitment will be stayed? Or in the worst case the whole recruitment will be cancelled? I have to join NIACL if that's the case. Kindly share your views. Thank you.
