Here's one to the start of another week of speculations, hopes, expectations and unending wait for that elusive mail or call from rbi office regarding further processes. For the next five days, shivers will run down my spine every time i receive an email notification on my phone or call from an unknown number hoping that it be the one from rbi that I am awaiting for past one and a half month. We made it till here. We will make it to the end too.

Anyone from Bhubaneswar region.my roll no in enhanched list. Very confused whether I am selected or not.I have regional language as odia in my 10th standard.no problem in lpt. Friends plz clarify my doubts.

I already knew it. That RBI will rectify it's mistakes not by an open apology but by this indirect route. Well, who knows , may be waiting list Candidates will see their fate whenever RBI decides to take them in instead of a re-exam since there had never been a waiting list before. Anyways, nothing can be said yet. Let's see what happens, @Ashpaul3 says they'll recruit in batches, so yeah may be the other batch of waiting list will get lucky sooner or later. Till then peace. 😎

Hello frnds, dont b panic by any news about waiting list n like that.I think RBI would not like to damage its reputation any more.They can't just eliminate candidates without any concrete reasons such as disqualification in LPT, inadequate documents etc. And if they do so, people can file a case on RBI which wil further damage image of RBI as they wil have to disclose their previous mistakes. Just wait n watch! !
Without the Completion of a Ongoing Recruitment Process Does any Organisation Answer any RTI regarding that???
RBI not uploading the cut off PDF makes me feel that a final list is yet to come. What u think puys..??
As per notification It is true that all candidates are provisionally selected not shortlisted for LPT. bt still lot of confusion. For e.g. my region bhubaneswar. In the notification there was 20 vacancies. Bt in the 1st list only 18 were selected.iñ the second list 6 more added to make the list of 24. As per probability chances of selection is 0.75 if the vacancies are 18. I.e out of every 4 candidates 3 will be selected.
Let another example of Kashmir region.at first vacancies are 10 bt RBI selected only 9 in the first list.now increase the no to 15. Probability is 0.60. I.e out of every 5 candidates 3 will be selected.
So RBI did not. Maintain any certain formula to select candidate in each regions.

I have created this user id just to tell @Ashpaul3 that the info you got from whtsapp group related to increased vacancy and blah blah blah was fake. I have created that post and made it viral on whtsapp groups of Rbi. Kisi ladke ki aunty Rbi Delhi me nahi hai aur kisi ne bhi Mumbai Agm se baat nahi kiya hai.I made that up and posted on whatsapp :p . Rbi never given joining to assistants in batches.you can confirm the same by calling on these 3 contact numbers of Mumbai Hr Dept.I am sure they won't going to provide any information. 022-22620521 022-22603110 022-22603179 Now you can curse me, abuse me or can do anything you want, i don't care and i won't reply.Never trust anything but Rti replies :p

A humble speculation. Rbi will conduct lpt.try to weed out a few,if any.then will be publishing the final list irrespective of new list or old list.based on mains marks.(just like what ibps does, considering age in case of equal marks etc).the number of vacancy stays the same.rest are put into reserve list.and in case of anyone found out to be medically unfit,or any candidate not joining,candidates will be called from reserve list for next year. This is not intended to strike fear or give false hope to anyone.Just what i think might happen.no "anonymous" source or vodoo. Peace out.
It's not about gen or sc or obc. The notice says that there will be documents verification and lpt. Lpt being "qualifying" in nature (no marks will be alloted). All provisionally selected candidates will get this job on clearing lpt whether they r general or non general. We don't need to contact any hr for this or speculate anything about vacancy etc. This is an enhanced list and has names of all in old list + newly included. I m srry, but I m writing this on account of a huge number of posts regarding security of candidates in the old list. I urge everyone to use their mind. Don't get this insecure. Read the notice carefully and the logic it conveys. Thank you
