I have 7 years of work experience in IT industry after my Engineering.Can anybody please help me in my below 2 queries:

i) I want to move to management consulting. So I am planning to do an 1 year full time MBA. Can anybody please let me know, with my 7yeras of IT experience and MBA(which I am planning to do), will it be possible to make a shift.How important will be MBA degree for that. And which colleges are preferable for MBA(I believe IIMB,IIMA and ISB).

ii)If I opt for IT consulting as my career path , will the MBA make any difference.
