consider only honey percentage in 2 mixture. A - 25% and B - 75%
so when
2 liter of mixture A is mixed, the percentage of honey mixed is (2*.25) = 0.5 similarly when you mix 3 liter of mixture B you'll mix 3*.75 = 2.25.
so the amount of honey in mixture is (2.25 + 0.5)/(2 + 3) = 11/20.
this is the ration of honey/(honey + water)....so ratio of hone/ water = 11/(20- 11) = 11/9
for question 2nd
when 8 liter mixture was taken out the amount of kerosene taken out was 8*.18 = 1.44 liter. this 1.44 liter cause 3 % change in the mixture level of kerosene so if 3% of kerosene = 1.44 liter 100% of kerosene = 1.44*100/3 = 48 liter.
