A tank of litres capacity has been filled with water thru two pipes, the first pipe having been opened hours longer than the second. If the first pipe was opened as long as the second, and the second pipe was opened as long as the first pipe was open, then the first pipe would deliver half the amount of water delivered by the second pipe; if the two pipes were opened simultaneously, the tank would be filled up in 17 hours. P.S. Is it possible to solve this question without solving the three equations that we are getting?
Coz 30 ways of arranging the variants! 12C6 ways of picking the students and 6! x 6! the way in way inwhich we can arrange them all together 30x (12C6) x 6! x 6!

Let the sum of money be : x Now, x becomes 2x in 3 yrs. As per the concept of compund interest, 2x will be now the principal and it will become 4x in 3 yrs. (any amount will double in 3 yrs). So, original amount becomes 4 times in 6 yraes (3+3). So, it will become 8 times in 9 yrs.
