Oh It's time to thanks giving post
This is all the PYAR -DULAR of Junta who voted for me. Couldn't attend this AIPGM but there is always next time 🍻

Hmmmk hmmmk * clears throat*
Yay! I won!
Today I stand more honored than humbled before you. You have encouraged and supported me through thick and thin. I want to thank you all but before that I want to tell you a short story *tries to keep it short- fails miserably*
Back in Jan 2014 I was ready to quit after my initial 3-4 articles turned out to be flop shows. Few friends read them but their kind words weren't enough to satiate my hunger for overnight success. I felt devastated and decided to quit. But I was not ready to give it in without a fight; actually I was not allowed to. I gathered all the pieces of my broken hope and wrote an article on a topic which was close to my heart. After I had published it I kept on refreshing the page for likes and comments but there were none and that was it . I decided to disappear for a while from pg . But something amazing was about to happen. Next day I decided to open Facebook like always only to find that my article was the latest post on PG Facebook page.
To me it was like an act of kindness from someone who knew that this might be my last article forever. @laj mam had recommended my article and it was being read by many. Since then I haven't looked back and I thank you for that.
I also want to thank @shashankvenkat3 for his constant encouragement and open dialogues.
I want to thank @Apurv sir and @laj mam for editing my articles and presenting them in the best way possible.
I want to thank all doses who voted for Puyscars 2014 and especially for writer category. I shall be tagging them in order of their actual voting sequence:
@Sherjil @dark-phoenix @ank_mission_IIM @miseera @DieHard12 @nexus.anonymous @ralins @rai20 @ayushnasa @koool.Miike @psk.becks @nav_2610 @UthnkUknwME @choudharybhai @shawshanks @rohitttt @sam1nitb @deepak99 @brixcel @mailtoneha14 @Aizen @pathetic @Mansi2406 @pagalguy2324 @NehaN03 @chetna_serious @akki5 @Dev_MBApagal @rajan30 @nikskrish
Few friends who didn't vote but deserve a mention @emily6 @sabrinakhan @saloni1931 @Dexian @burnett @Dazed-Confused @scrabbler @shattereddream @busar005 @Surabhi30
Last but not the least; I want to thank PGHQ for organisation and conducting PUYscars and AIPGM 2014. I want to thank all the moderators for their efforts.
Lastly, I want to dedicate this award to my GF as she deserves it more than I. She has been a constant subject to the torture of my Sci-Fi mysteries and conspiracy theories. She has read them all and helped me to better them. I would not be writing this if it wasn't for her.
I will keep this award in front of me whenever I am going to write something ambitious as it will serve as an tangible source of encouragement and motivation to do better.
Thank you all ...👼
Hi all, I'm not so good at writing so I will keep this short
😁Firstly I accept the award and promise to keep it close to my heart. I just want entire PG team to know that PG is one platform when people facing similar situations and hardships of life can interact and that friendship can last for forever, with little efforts of course 😃
We thank you for that!
I promise to be there for just all of you, be it questions regarding MBA from NM or job at any PSU bank, yes I am a good listener 😁
Lastly special thanks to my entire chitchat team @nexus.anonymous @RawHul
@UthnkUknwME @ratnasen @ibpsaspirants20 @Pushpak1987 @lobster24 @koool.Miike @gotchapagal @Dev_MBApagal @sabrinakhan @shawshanks @viveksngh55Before writing this, I looked up at HIM and said, " I told you, I'm not folding!"
First of all, apologies for not attending the AIPGM. I should have been there and I was all set to be there, but I couldn't make it.

Thanks for voting for me in the respective categories. It shows my efforts are recognized and as @MansieDewanConsulting pointed out , we all require a pat on the back sometimes.
One thing I want to point out, Pagalguy provides the platform but the real soul of PG is the users as we help each other, guide others on the B school apps and make PG our second home. It is us we make the PG as lively, interactive and addictive for us. It is quite heartening to see after admissions, people such as @visionIIM-ACL and other current students of B schools come again to PG and contribute immensely to help aspirants. I will request to all the users to keep doing this fabulous contribution to the PG and make this even a more addictive place to be in.
Taking ahead from @kinji.at.pg1 sir left his post,
And yes, thanks a lot for making me win a puyscar and helping me to ensure that since my year of joining, no year goes without a puyscar (Show off? 😛
) On a serious note, thanks a lot everyone for the love and trust shown on me! Hope to keep coming here regularly and try to assist as many puys here to the best of my capabilities. 😃
I gratefully and humbly accept the awards which my fellow puys have chosen to bestow on me. I guess none of us comes to the forums aiming to win such awards, but when one does receive such a token of appreciation, it gives a warm glow, a feeling that one's efforts have not gone unnoticed and that one has made a difference. Thank you so much, my friends…
As I said during AIPGM, that day was probably the most embarrassing (albeit heart-warming) one I have faced in years, and also the most exercise I have had in a long time. And when all was said and done, my sympathies went out to @brixcel , who must probably be humming to herself right now “Main kya karoon haaye mujhe budha mil gaya”
But seriously, jokes aside….
As someone who is wary of social media, I was quite uncertain when I took the plunge and started posting regularly on Pagalguy 2 years back. But to my relief, PG was intriguingly different; people were genuinely interested in learning and in helping one another improve and it was an environment I grew to love. As a teacher by choice, my goal is to become the best teacher I can be and PG has gone a long way towards helping me in that ongoing quest. I am truly grateful to @pagalguy and team for providing such a platform where people can learn and grow together. It is a pleasure and an honour being part of this vibrant community.
I was delighted that so many people said that I was somebody they wanted to meet (and I hope that those who did get to meet me at AIPGM and elsewhere were not unduly disappointed
) and that so many considered me worthy of a special mention.
I did not honestly expect to be named “best poster”, either in the QA/VA threads or overall. There are people who write better, who are more polite and thoughtful in their every communication, who are more knowledgeable. I am by nature hasty and often give brusque, minimalistic or even rude replies; more than once I have given offense or hurt someone through my insensitivity. Let me take this opportunity to apologise to anyone who I might have inadvertently slighted and thank those who voted for me despite my shortcomings. I will try to be worthy of it in the days to come.
Never in my wildest dreams did I expect to even be nominated for PG King. 😲 Following in the footsteps of people like @Estallar12 and @sabrinakhan , legends in their own right… those are big shoes to fill. I live in the hope that, like the Royal Family of England, I will not have to do any actual ruling and need be just a figurehead
leaving the real power where it belongs, in the hands of those who will exercise it fairly and justly, such as @grondmaster (ab ki baar, Modi sarkar…
)
I'd like to thank all my friends who have been with me on this journey. I cannot name all of you even if I try but I would still mention a few oldies who have inspired me more than most from the time I joined PG: @koyal1990 (my first friend on PG), @ankita14 (nitwit!), @Harmeet89 (regards, dost), @YouMadFellow (that boring IIMA guy), @chillfactor and @anytomdickandhary (maths redux \\____o_//), @Sere (serenity), @miseera (village idiot
bhai), @PhoenixScribe (Inglis teacher), @sabrinakhan and @brixcel (the once and future queens) and many many more … those of you I have missed out, bear with an old guy's failing memory
And there is one more name I would wish to mention, a vivacious young lady who was for a while my student, then my colleague, and still later a member of PG HQ, but always and ever my friend; a gem of a person who sadly is with us no more. Many on PG would remember her as the face of AIPGM 2013 (which I now very much regret not attending). I would like to dedicate these awards to @ridds26
regards
scrabbler

Hello People 😁 Umm...Acceptance Speech ✏ ..Nah! I'm not that good at writing! So there's a twist here 😛 Before I start, let me tell you that I have grown with PG 👏
I joined PG back in 2011

I was lost :O

Meanwhile, I found a Rockstar 😎 hidden in me 🎥

Someone (that someone includes a donkey at a funfair 😑 ) rightly said that I was born with a silver spoon!! 👶

And so I became The PG Queen 2013! It was dream come true ☺

With time I disappeared! On 7th June, 2014 I got a message from @sam1nitb that I have won "User You Would Like to Meet" And I thought that puys have forgotten me 😲 And my reaction:

☺
Oh, for sure I accept these awards! (Who'd refuse such beautiful things? 👿 ) 😈 I am all grateful to every single puy who has the slightest contribution in helping me achieve this honor. I dedicate these to all of you, fellas! 👼 😘 [Now, don't ask for the trophies ! 😠 😈 ]
To be honest, it didn't come to me as a surprise when I got to know that I had won the PG Queen Award, as puys and pirls already had given rise to that expectation, with announcing their precious votes for me. :mg: :thankful: What left me with my mouth agape was the first nomination for the very award, for I felt that I hadn't done enough to win this one! 😯 [ @ayushnasa ❤ , kya soching tha nominate karte time? 😈 ] And then one after another, my loving buddies started bestowing on me their love in the form of votes 👼 , and with every single vote for me, my eyes and mouth both started widening 😮 , for I was thinking-'Pagal-vagal toh nahin ho gayi chillar-party?😮 ' 😜 Lots of love to all my chillars.👼 😁 💟
But yes, it was nothing short of a surprise to know that I am one of the users people would like to meet in person. 😊 Though it's sad on my part that I have not yet been able to attend a single PG meet 😢 😒 Hope that I'll get to see you guys, soon. 😃
These 2 years (of activeness) with PG have been wonderful. Having found the bestest of the buddies here, I feel I took a right step when I finally decided to start posting on the forum, to the levels of addiction, after being in a dormant state for 6 months. :splat: :mg: And PG- as a forum, is one of a kind! Agreeing with Scrabby, PG very well understands the value of appreciation, and the PuYsCaRs are a proof of that! PG, may you forever keep growing! ✈ 😇 Thanks for being such a wonderful platform. 👍
At last, I want to say thanks to all the peoplez who have helped me win these awards. You all rock! 😋 Thank you, thanks a lot! 👼
1. All the voters - Without you people, it wouldn't have been possible. 😃 :thankful: :being-the-laziest-gadhiya 🐮 for not naming you all separately : 🌚 :maafi:
2. @lay_man, my first friend from PG. You are the reason I am here!
3. @ayushnasa and @sabrinakhan, Besties! 😘
4. @scrabbler, The King has always been there for solving the doubts of the Queen. 😁 👼
5. @DieHard12, @gotchapagal and @mailtoneha14 , the ones who have come close to my heart in a little time. 😃 Your words have always been inspiring. 👼 😘
6. @Estallar12 Stella the Sautan :D , @hiteshpratap hippo , @azure09 khajoor , @Swatysachdeva chidiya 🐦 :, @pari19O1 Sambha, @ank_mission_IIM ankwa, @miseera nalayak bhai 😡 , behen ka bakar wala award cheen liya 😑 , khush reh behen ke raaj mein 😴 - Bakar buddies. :D
I know the list is endless, especially for the bakar-buddies, but I have to stop mentioning at some point. :mazboor: Kindly bear with my laziness. :v
With this, I end this post. God bless my Praja. 😁 😂 👼
Regards,
Ghonchu a.k.a. @brixcel 🐮
The lazy bum I am, the acceptance speech comes later :mg: :splat:
For now the trophies :D
:gm: :gm:
