In the mean time we will be sharing resources and strategies needed to bell the CAT in this yrs season.

This thead is for all those optimist who still believe they can make it!!!

next 2 days i will be devoting for algebra...

I too will contribute as much as I can.

Good one Ujjwal ... m with u ...

gud initiative

hey Ujwal nice innitiative :)
guys,
well im also on the same boat, performing very badly in the mocks and feel needs lot of improvement to score 95%+.
lets have some strategies and approaches as less then 40 days left to CAT 11
so that all the week people and people scoring less in mocks can improve.

I hope this will help a lot.
let me know if this can be a good idea and have good approaches towards CAT and OMET.

please suggest

first of all try to cover the basics of all topics in quant.
secondly go for approach development in LR/DI.
also, on a regular basis try ro gain proficiency in VA topics like parajumbles, sentence completion, and FIJ'S.

Always remeber that we just have to aim for attempting 18-20 question in each question with at least 95 % accuracy . this will easily fetch you some gud calls. alaways keep in mind that 70% of CAT questions are doable.

leave aside mocks and at this point just conscentrate on building the basics......together we will surely do it!!!

Count me in, I have had a rather unusual performance in mocks, touched 88 tile and came crashing down to 30ish percentile.

So, me being an inconsistent performer, want to change it asap :)

I am doing questions from trig and will start co-ordinate geometry both from TIME book

count me in this ......great initiative ujjwal. i will be following and contributing as much as i can in this.... i don't have proper material ( few Cl material and few Time books ). But will get one set soon....hopefully i will get some useful material online......

Good job UJJwal...Go ahead....

Wow! really appreciate this thread..... I'm in..... by the way i have CL and TIME material.. which one do u guys is better?

for DI & LR TIME's material is the best.....
and for verbal logic CL's
as far as quant is concerned both TIME AND CL are equally gud.

Things which I will be doing in the last 1.5 months:

1. Solve last year TIME DI/LR Aimcats & CAT mock replica.
They are delicious. It open your mind.

2. VA from arun sharma & TIME.

3. Quants : Still many topics are left pending. :banghead:

M starting PnC today...mostly from Arun Sharma...Is thr anyone who is doing the same topic?

Hi,

The following workplan is in sight:

1) Complete the Online Sectional Tests - TIME

2) Complete the Online Test Gym - Career Launcher

3) Previous Year TIME and CL papers - Only QA and DI Sections

4) QA Book of TIME

5) Couple Chapters from Arihant - QA

6) DI Practice Exercises from CL/TIME and Arun Sharma Books

7) All the MC,CRT etc available on TIME and CL Website

I know it is a lot of stuff. But I guess hard work is the only way for me. If I would have got the genius in me then I would be in an IIM by now. But, then also, I am ready to put in a fight. For the last time in my life.

This is the serious business end now.

Time to buckle up and yes...Time to Rise.

It all depends on

"How badly I want to get into an IIM"

Thanks ujjwal .Its a gr8 initiative .count me in. i have been performing low scores consistently in AiMCATS.I have even quit my job for chasing my dream of getting into the Ivy league colleges. :).I shall be starting with LR basics from tomorrow followed by geometry(esp circle) from arun sharma. sentence completion from arun sharma
