work ex- one year in social justice
few months in environment ( water initiatives)
i am totally in love with the development sector and see many many oppertunities for an extremely bright future .
also in ABM in come in the ctatgory of people who have a keen interest in the agriculture sector cos i do not come from an agriculture or allied background of studies 😁

ashish abt the abm forms, mine came by post . it will come to ur place also in case u have darkened the oval in the cat form. im based in ahnemdabad so prob my form came first...
other than that have u applied for IRMA
if yes then please tell me how are u planning to attack GK in the irma paper
anyways pls keep posting and keep the therad alive hope we can get som ppl in abm or irma tell us more abt the course

well gk i have heard is very tough and lots and lots of agriculture stuff
well for gk basically ill just go thru a copule of economic and political weekly's there is also another magazine called down to earth which is alos pretty good. oth than that i have no idea

please send me the details how to obtain the form. i am a computer science grad doing mba dfrom IMDR. but i have an interest in rural management. so i want to apply for pgp -abm. so please send me the details how cto apply
well to obtain the abm form u shd have filled up the abm colum in the cat application form. i also registered my name at the abm office wen i had gone to submit the from at iim ahd. if u had filled up the abm colum ul surely get the from by post. my form also came by post.
just email to the abm office and i guess they willl be able to give u more information.
but the cat application is a must for the abm form, and this form is for ppl who are not from the agriculture and allied activited background

i have darken that clolum. so u dont have to contact them or request for forms. just wiat for. it. what is the last date for submission
well abt the last date they were very vague. there is no last date mentioned in the form so wen i went to the abm office the guy over there told me " hmm uv got the form na...so fill it up and submit it as soon as possible" wen i insisted on a deadline he said tht it will be sometime in the end of nov.
as for ur form...y dont u email them. or if poss just call them to get things clarified. i really dont know cos i had registerd my name at the abm officce when i had submitted my form

Good to see more junta interested in ABM.B/w i too got final callsfrom irma n iima and am doing ABM here..So do feel free to clarify ur doubts regarding CAT and IRMA test.As far as IRMA test goes,ya gk is pretty tough,but manageable.Like i remember doing around 30/60 .The quant,english sections are cakewalk,but Di was slightly tough and gk togher.Make sure u read Competition sucess,Yojana,Kurukshetra etc.Mostly questions will test ur knowledgeof rural and dev sector,the govt plans,recent devs in agri sector,etc..It is more rural oriented than agri oriented.

yup IRMA gk is tough. csr u get in the news stands but wer on earth do i get yojana from. even my coll stopped subscribing to the magazine. can u gimm some idea wer ill find that magazine.

As far a s yojana i concerned,its bing published by publication division of India.Search on the net for their adress.isuggest selective reading of yojana,a it contains lot of info ,so choose n read whats relevant.Altough most will be rural.IRMA stresses a lot on GK part.Many guys dont make the gk cut off.
