I got offer letter from TCS. But they have told me your on boarding process is delay due to corona and approval from RMG team.. Is it valid reason?

Hey I have qualified TCS NQT test in Kolkata that was mailed on 19th Feb., 2020. They mailed me that interview date will be within 31st May that will be informed soon but still I didn't receive any mail when it will be held.
