The question paper had three sections


Hr -80, aptitude -30, GK -30 totally 150

Around half of the HR questions were easily answerable ... there were some questions from OD also ...

Aptitude section was normal .... I have no idea about GK Section...

well, i only have experience of NTPC interviews (not mine) and what I found that they never asked the usual HR questions. So I have started preparation on the same format as that of NTPC's, i.e., Labor Laws + (thorough knowledge of one core HR sub-topic, I chose OB) + GK and Current Affairs + About ONGC. Over and above all these preparation, there's destiny and God's grace. If I am destined to be there, no one could stop me and if not, irrespective of all possible efforts, I won't get selected. I am simply revealing my preparation strategy because I don't fear any competition because if I am not going to get selected, then it doesn't matter even if I am the only candidate called for interview.

@drama ohh, all the best.. i hv experience of SAIL interviw where apart from tech que i was asked many behavioral questions so shared my views on the same

I have my interview on the 2nd Feb in scope complex delhi.

Any existing employee of HR ONGC you guys talked to? what do they feel about the work, culture, transfers postings etc?

No, mine is in Lakshmi Nagar. It seems they are having two venues for candidates.

Oh, it means there are SCOPE complex, one in Lodhi Road and one in Lakshmi Nagar.
