I have an admit from Olin, Mendoza and Boston University for full time MBA
program of Fall 2012 and i need your help in finalizing my program.
I have similar $$ from all three schools.
I have 3 years of IT experience and want a transition to strategy consulting/management consulting
with product management as a backup. I see that other puys
are in a similar situation and would be obliged for your input.
I plan to return to India after a few years, so which of the schools
has more prestige in India (or for that matter in the US)?
Which of the programs will help me in my switch to Consulting?

With 3 yrs work ex and no prior consulting experience it will certainly be challenging to break into one of the most sought after post-MBA career tracks. All the three schools that you mentioned are might help you get an interview with consulting firms, but cracking the interview will solely depend on your performance. Check the career websites of the colleges you mentioned and see whether the firms you are targeting come on-campus. Best of luck!
