Hi Adcom. I applied for refund on 22nd june and i got a call confirming my account no. The next day. I haven't received any update regarding refund after that. How much time will it take to refund the amount?

I am a 2017-19 batch alumnus of TAPMI. During my stint at TAPMI, I held a position of responsibility as the CEO of Samnidhy, TAPMI’s student managed investment fund. Samnidhy was the brainchild of Prof. Madhu Veeraraghavan, the current Director of TAPMI. Hence, I have the experience of working very closely with Prof. MVR. I have shared an excellent working relationship with him and he was always very receptive to new ideas. Have I always been on the same page with him? Absolutely not! I have had differences of opinion with him on a variety of matters. But he was somebody with whom I could easily disagree and speak out my mind freely without the fear of any consequence. And that is what I believe is the difference between authority and leadership. In my personal interactions with Prof. MVR, he mostly exhibited the qualities of a leader and not that of an authoritative figure.
I am not very active on social media but felt it was necessary for me to put out my personal experience so that the incoming students of TAPMI can make better informed decisions regarding their careers. I would try my best to personally respond to as many queries as possible from TAPMI admits of 2020-22.

Hello Everyone, I am Sanjay Sawhney an alumnus of TAPMI. This is the story of my stint in TAPMI, Manipal. I was as confused as you guys would be and was searching for my way forward in the first year of my MBA. I somehow got attracted towards Finance (still trying to figure how?) and wrote my first report on Bajaj Finance and made my entry into Samnidhy – Student Managed Investment Fund.
As a part Samnidhy, I was mentored by my Senior (Ms Tuhina) in BFSI sector and she has played a big role in what I am today and will be in my future. Coming to my 2nd Year, I got selected as the CIO – Chief Investment Officer of Samnidhy, where we managed an AUM of 14.5 lakh with the Team. Stock Market is not an easy place to be in. We faced many difficult situations in the year and the person who supported us in our decisions and helped us multiple times was none other than The Director of TAPMI (Prof. Madhu Veeraraghavan or MVR Sir)
Now you guys would be thinking that I would have some previous experience in accounting, stock markets or finance. But none!! What helped me in treading the difficult field of Finance/financial markets was the support of the faculties of TAPMI, just to name a few MVR Sir, Vish Iyer Sir, Rajeev Sir, Kavitha Ma’am and many other amazing faculties.
When you are taught from best or rather, I would say leaders, you learn to see the world from a different perspective. This, I would say is the most valued skill corporate world looks for.
What TAPMI and being a part of Samnidhy have given me is a great bunch of friends, invaluable experience, some good and drunk memories but most importantly my New found love for Investing.

Hello adcom, For withdrawal, Do we have to send the hard copy of refund format even for amount of 70000 also? and where do we get the refund format??
Does tapmi gives full refund after first installment on withdrawel from admission???
