Guys please send the link of the unofficial group of TAPMI.

The sheer audacity of TAPMI banning accounts on all social media platforms of all the students and deleting their posts after the outrage created by their 2016 alumni Vinayak Prabhu has been ridiculous. I am sure a lot of people will be joining elsewhere after reading his post on the true face of the college. I just applied for a refund 5 minutes back and hope you guys choose wisely too.

The kind of things an institute of this repute does just goes on to show what a f***ed up college tapmi really is!

I know a lot of posts regarding this are being deleted by adcom members and they are spreading all sorts of lies on the facebook group too as I am a part of that group. So just one thing I wanna say to the aspiring students like me. Choose wisely as you won't be doing your mba twice in life!

Cheers!

I am Kathiresan L, from the batch of 2013-2015, TAPMI, Manipal.

But this is not about me. This is not about TAPMI too. This is not even about the Director of TAPMI. This is just about: me and the person - Prof. MVR.

A role-model is a person who inspires you to think "This is where I want to see myself in the future". And that's precisely what MVR helped me with. The kind of energy that he brings when he walks into a class, his love for the subject, the depth of his knowledge in the domain - shaped me to believe that whichever profession I take up in my life, teaching will always be a part of it.

The one who follows "Let us do it" attitude (and not "Do it"), saw the dream of 'TAPMI winning the first-ever Bloomberg Championship' come true and I am thankful even today for being a part of it as TAPMI's Bloomberg Champion in 2014.

When TAPMI Finance Lab was set-up in 2013, the passion with which he got the buy-in of the stakeholders taught me the mantra "Dream Big. Work Hard" and it has never let me down since then........

Hi team,sorry to bother youll

Since TAPMI is AICTE approved, can the refund be issued within 15 days as per notification No. AICTE/MS Office/Special 01 dated 1st May 2020.

The admission team didnt reply on email on this pont.

Due to the pandemic money is a bit tight, I hope youll undertand.

Those waitlisted candidates who receive offers during the course of the week, please do keep us posted on when you recieved them and what your current WL number is. Cheers and all the best to all!

How to send annexure 1 ???

Hello Adcom, Please let me know the format to claim the refund? I have paid the full first year tuition fee and would like to withdraw now. I have also sent a mail to [email protected] asking for the format. Help me out here as this is urgent.

Can anyone please help regarding the classes which are to be scheduled on AUG 1 ? Second year students are having online classes right ?

anyone availed loan from sbi? the contact number provided in LPA mail is coming switched off.. is there any alternate number?

Now since it is most probably sure about online classes for least a semester, can we expect a reduction in tuition fee as we won't be using campus and hostel fee because we won't be living there.

A brief account on our experiences at TAPMI [2013-15].

How many of you received the mail regarding the controversy on social media ?

TAPMI is trying too hard now! 😂 Also, did anyone else notice a sudden influx of ads of TAPMI on Insta, YouTube, etc?

How much Movement is there in pgdm bkfs waitlist?

While the allegations made by the student Mr. Prabhu would be difficult for any institute to hear, I think the way the institute responded is deeply concerning. He is an alumnus who claims to have been abused by the institute but repeatedly mentions that he doesn't want to bring TAPMI down, and just wants to hold people accountable. Following his allegations he states that 30 more alumni have similar reports against the institute. I also acknowledge that they might be in the minority. But being in a relatively better position of power what TAPMI did by exposing his writings and his mental state and basically just blaming his flaws and not addressing the allegations is just sad. I had a great opinion of TAPMI despite many students both current and alumni telling me it was a strict place. Now that I know that if I mess up, the institute will go hunting for my social media information just to make a point, I'd ask all the students planning to go here to think again. - Previous aspirant of TAPMI.

Hello @Akangkshya, You mentioned that refund policy of aicte states that refund should be processed in 45 days but the approval process handbook 2020-21 states otherwise. On page 117 in clause 8.13.5, it is mentioned refund should be completed in 7 days. Can you please provide the source with states that refund process should be completed in 45 days? Link of the handbook :- https://www.google.com/url?sa=t&source=web&rct=j&url=https://www.aicte-india.org/sites/default/files/APH%25202020_21.pdf&ved=2ahUKEwiOwdvwu6zqAhVDwzgGHbPuC-4QFjAAegQICBAB&usg=AOvVaw0o8oJyobrNY8TK17lXIjHd

@srishti_pgdm we thank the management of TAPMI for giving us a clear view and taking up time to putforth the version of management about the ongoing issue. At a time of crisis like COVID, it shows us the accountability of TAPMI in dealing with any issues that create a doubt to aspirant. We are happy about the intimation and hope this issue gets resolved as early as possible. I also thank the alumni for taking time to share their experiences.

TAPMI is like IPL. Currently they're playing with the lives of a few hundred mba aspirants and secretly laughing their booties off!
