Mr. Kaustav Majumdar, Member, Board of Governors, Sparsh Global Business School, conducted an engaging and thought-provoking session with our PGDM students. With nearly three decades of experience across entrepreneurship, leadership, and strategy—and as Mentor in Residence at IIM Calcutta Innovation Park—Mr. Majumdar brings a wealth of real-world wisdom.
He has advised several government bodies and corporate innovation programs, and continues to serve on the boards of emerging startups and academic institutions. His multifaceted experience bridges the worlds of business innovation, venture creation, and academic excellence.
The session focused on mentoring students in understanding the realities of the corporate world, identifying their core strengths, and making informed decisions about their career paths and domain specializations. Through real-life anecdotes and strategic guidance, he helped students reflect on their individual journeys and prepare for the challenges and opportunities ahead.
