Hi, I am really keen on pursuing the GMBA program and I wanted to know if I stand a chance based on my profile? Details below:
CAT score: 88.17%ile
Academic: X and XII above 80% and BMS (Honours) from Mumbai University about 72% (aggregate across all the years), final year alone: above 77%
Work-ex in core finance: 31 months as on date €“ completing 36 months in June 2014. (Currently working in a credit rating agency and previous work-ex with one of the Big 4 in Advisory)
I had a few questions about the process:
1) Is there any provision for a deferred admission to the Sept 2014 intake? I want to know about my chances as soon as possible since most other colleges close their admission process around June-July and I am keen on enrolling for an MBA this year itself. Is there any way to apply now, but obtain a deferred admission for Sept-14 provided I complete the required work-ex?
2) Is my CAT score sufficient or is it advisable to take the SPJAT? What would be a safe score?

I have given CAT 2012, results of which were announced in Jan 2013.
My CAT 2012 percentile =89.9
I will give GMAT in Apr 2014.
Is my CAT percentile sufficient to fetch a call considering only the scores part?
I will have a total work experience of 3 years 9 months by May 2014.
2 years 6 months with current employer and 1 year 3 months with previous employer.
I dont have a work experience certificate from my previous employer. Though I have the offer/joining letter, payslips and form-16 (Income Tax slips) which verify my work with the employer.
Would my work experience with previous employer be considered?
I took GMAT yesterday and got a disappointing score of 610 ( Q 48 V 26 ). This was my 2nd attempt. The first attempt was before 2 years and I scored 580 ( Q 38 V 32 ).
