@rutty_bharucha..Ma'am I have applied for the MGB program on 27th Feb(2774-IBWM) but still my application status is not yet updated.I do got a mail which states that I am falling short of one of the admission criteria which is the test score.I will be giving my SP JAT on 10th March.but what about my evaluation round? will it be on the same day?If not then what are the dates?
Hi! If you get an aptitude test score that meets our cut off mark, you will be called for the next evaluation scheduled sometime around the end of this month.
Hey@rutty_bharucha, Actually I am quite interested in doing my MBA in Supply Chain Management and I have some queries around this:What are the prospects of Logistics and Supply chain Management specialization you offer in the MGB program?What roles are offered for this specialization majorly?How is the curriculum comparing to Global standards? Is there any diversity in case studies, I mean country specific supply chains, how is the focus on Indian supply Chains? Sorry for being specific , but I am really inclined and want to know as much as I can? Also, if I fill before 20th March to apply for May batch, and suppose I get a call for admission after all the selection rounds, Can I postpone it to August batch? Because I want to take admission as early as possible but there is a possibility that I might have to postpone it because of some unavoidable issues if they happen in between..

hi! Difficult to say why your application has been waitlisted with just the information you have given above but yes if your work exp. is below 3 years then it is unlikely to be considered for MAy 2013 intake. You may try again for Sept. intake.
Hi @rutty_bharucha : I am going to take the SPJAT on this Sunday. Note that venue for the exam is provide as Chennai as i have selected the same. As this is the final SPJAT for May Intake I am coming over to Mumbai to give it a try. Can you please let me Mumbai address and also the timing.

Hi,I appeared for evaluations on 24/02/2012.I had a really bad experience with the authorities.I have mailed them and I am pasting it out here so that others are aware of what these people actually do.Read this mail-I am writing this mail to bring to your notice the kind of painful and frustrating experience I have gone through while I appeared for GMBA program evaluations.I had clearly mentioned my profile that my major experience has been into Trading domain.However,I opted for CMM because I wanted to learn marketing.These things were clear and straightforward in my application.Then I paid USD for evaluation process (which I later found out was a mere formality from the side of administration).I was asked only 4 questions in my interview which I still remember and can narrate out if required.The only criteria for my rejection in GMBA was that I had a completely different background. I suppose they didn't find it all of a sudden!I was called again and MGB was recommended.And it was not only once but thrice that they tried to put me in MGB Program.Their forcing for MGB clearly indicates that motto of calling me for evaluations round was only to put me into MGB somehow.I booked the tiickets which costed me more than INR 9000.Moreover I paid money for your cash cow(so called evaluations).I did this only because I wanted to learn CMM. I can't find any reason for their calling me and then recommending MGB there.I had cancelled my plans to take one day to and fro trip only to get your kind sugessions!Moreover, in my case,since evaluations were not done at all,I need my money back and I am ready to sue anybody for that.Truly speaking I have never experienced such unprofessional,money minded , fraudulent and careless attitude anywhere. Please stop harassing others in the name of evaluations.Before you ignore this application,I would like to clear out that I have a public voice and I will post my reviews on every public forum.
Hi, As explained to you on the phone, the GMBA program is for students who have substantial work experience and want to build on their work experience by choosing a relevant specialization, whereas the MGB program where it is easy to change the field of specialization. In your case, since you wanted to change your specialization, and your work experience was on the cusp of MGB and GMBA requirement, the panel suggested that you join the MGB program, where a relevant internship would cement your new specialization. Prospective GMBA students are tested on domain knowledge of the specialization chosen as this allows them better leverage at Placement. @Shil15 hey if u can come down to kochi in kerala there is availability on 23rd March in the IDP test center. go to www.ieltsidpindia.com and register online. i had called the college representative today and we have to take the academic test. per my understanding for sydney visa we require a detail from the college which will be given after payment of full fee.
@rutty_bharucha -that could have been clarified right after assessing my application.It was all mentioned.Probably there was no need of calling me..I ended up wasting my hard earned money and time..The clear advise could have been given on phone as well i think..
And your admission councellor also agreed to my points.If there is any doubt you can have a talk with him..

Hi! The personal interview does not imply a confirmed offer. Final decision is taken only after the personal interview and this will be communicated to the student within a weeks time.
Since the student has already paid the Tuition Fees, Residence Fees, etc., to the S P Jain School of Global Management, along with other documents, the student needs to show availability of funds for three months prior to visa application date. This needs to be held in acceptable and designated banks in India - the quantum of funds is about AUD 750 per month, for a period of 4 months, i.e., AUD 3000 or, at current exchange rates, INR 2 lakhs. This amount may be in the bank account held by the prospective student or his parents (a letter from the parents stating their desire to sponsor the cost of the student €™s stay in Australia must be attached). This is just one mode of displaying fund availability; a list is available on the S P Jain website.
In the unlikely event of the student's Australian visa being rejected, he would have the option of re-applying for the visa and may join the next batch of the MGB/GMBA program at Sydney, after securing the same. This would enable the student to graduate from the MGB/GMBA program and avail of placement services. As students of the same specialization start from different locations for successive batches, it would mean that the program would be a two-city program for such students. In other words, if a student started in Singapore and missed his second trimester in Sydney, he could do the second trimester in Sydney with the next batch and would then go to Singapore (not Dubai) for the third trimester. The student can register for placement assistance in Singapore, with the graduating batch.

Hi Your aptitude test score of July 2012 will remain valid for September 2013 intake but not beyond that.
